Volpe 2-Run HR! Stanton 3-Run HR! That’s what I like to see!

Lemahieu got screwed out of a walk. I will say one thing if I am pitching and catching for the Yankees I call a curve and throw a fastball right at that umpire. Not only was it a ball but he called it way too late.

Judge with an injured toe still runs faster than Stanton.

Nice 5 pitch 6th for Cole that should buy him an extra inning.

I'm talking below .400, for up to 4 years, before putting a "real" winning, young, team on the field. I think I'd sign up for this. I'd watch young players trying to make their way into the league and know that they're not going to make the playoffs. I'd much rather watch that than watch a bunch of over paid has beens and have smoke blown up my ass by a GM who lies every time he opens his mouth.
I would never watch the team if they did that. Why would you want to watch them be as bad as the As for 4 years? I'd never change my team allegiance, but I wouldn't actively watch them or spend money on them.

Who would be pitching to Judge if you had a bunch of scrub rookies playing around him?

He's trying not to fall back too far average wise from the rookie making $27.4 or so million less than him.

Fat Kirk on the Blue Jay's probably runs faster than Stanton.

I never understand how we can rake against a great pitcher like Shane. But we can't hit a trashbag or a rookie pitcher.

Can they bottle tonight’s first 7 innings and give us this effort the rest of the season.

If only. I can see this team getting hot. Especially when Judge is locked in. But it's probably gonna be too little too late. Especially with the way this division has been. Not a good year to be mediocre.

If only we played in the AL Central.

Has to be one of the worst home plate umpiring games of the year.

Definitely he just screwed Diaz like he screwed Lemahieu. He is consistently bad.

BOOK IT 7-2 !!!! Nice game by Cole after the 2 run first, Stanton 4 runs batted in and Volpe with a 3 hit night with a 2 run homer. Keep this formula

Are we going to see Cole win the Cy Young this year? He currently leads in ERA, Games Started, Innings Pitched, Batter Faced, and WAR.

Nestor comes back and gets the start on Saturday against Houston.

Yankees' Nestor Cortes set to return after two months on IL

Saw this on Fb, found it hysterical and sad.
If Stanton’s pinch hitting average was his Blood alcohol level, he could legally drive: .075 (3 for 40 with 22 strikeouts.)

That is pretty funny but obviously the analytics team doesn’t follow that stat as they still sent him up to pinch hit for IKF 2 nights ago. The result game ending strikeout go figure.
