Isn't that what they're doing now lol. What other at bat are you there to watch?

If I was Cole or Judge I’d be asking the Yankees FO to trade me during the off season
Otherwise they’d be wasting their prime years on a team that won’t sniff a WS

Used to be Rizzo, Lemahieu, Torres, Stanton and Bader but it seems they are all collectively choosing to suck at the moment.

You might be too young to remember the Horace Clarke, Gene stick Michael, Celerino Sanchez,Jake Gibbs,Danny Cater, Roy White days but that’s what I had to root for as an 8 year old, Thurman Munson was the pick that led them in the right direction.

I get what you’re saying as isn’t that what I am watching now but I was there for some really lean years and bad players.

Well, that possibly explains the ups and downs for German this yr. Wish him the best.

Stump was handed a crap team so hard to include him.
Boone inherited a team that made it to the 7th game of the ALCS and could never take them further.

Ray Handley replaced Parcells a no win situation but he did turn a Super Bowl winner into a .500 team.

It is a tough question as some coaches and managers had better talent to work with. I mean Rich Kotite of the Jets comes to mind and Bill Arnsparger of the Giants. Just imagine if Parcells was fired after his first year of 3-12-1 we might have never known how great a coach he would become

Ray Handley - for his handling of the QB Simms to the bench

That is true it’s been awhile so it’s hard to remember certain things. One of the worst moments in Giants history turned out to be the best, you know the fumble against the Eagles for Herm Edwards scoop and score to win the game, well heads rolled and it changed the whole culture of the team Ray Perkins doesn’t get the credit he deserved for turning that franchise around.

Just quit now. They are tagging Cole already and McClanahan will not give up much. Can’t they ever come to bat 0-0.

I guess 2-0 isn’t as bad as the 7-0 hole the Orioles had them in after 1

I loved those years and before; remember Steve Hamilton, Roger Repoz, Jake Gibbs, etc.

And the QB was:

Joe Pisarcik. The end of that game still bounces around in my head.

Slumps I get. But I just don’t get how a group of players like these guys can’t get their sh*t together. This is getting old. I’m sick of being angry all the time.

What do you mean? It's an offense comprised of almost entirely scrubs.

If anything, they've gotten some pretty big surprises from Jake Bauers and Billy McKinney, both of which are very limited scrap heap type players.

But when you have players like LeMahieu, Rizzo and Stanton taking predictable slides down the age curve, an injury from Judge and young kids like Volpe who clearly aren't ready, this is what you get.

For perspective, IKF is currently sporting his career high in OPS+, which is 93. It's not exactly a murderers' row.

They’re still better than how they’re playing, but yeah, I get it.

Well after a Bader double and Volpe home run it is 2-2 with IKF at first.

Are they? I mean I think Volpe blossoms into a pretty good player. But it's hard to see much hope for most of the line up to be anything more than what they are. Some will have some hot months or whatever, but it's just not a line up with a ton of upside. And with Judge out, it really gets exposed.
