Damn, thank you so much! That's WAY better than I was expecting. I was thinking an active boxer from the same time period as the hat.

It's amazing how much more you can get by splitting up AirPods altogether. If you sell 1st gen AirPods by themselves you may get $40 for all of it. But if you split it up by charging case, right ear and left ear buds, you could get $40 a piece.

Bought a cotton stitched 2' x 3' American flag this weekend for $2. Got home and noticed it had 49 stars. Sold for $125

Picked up 4 Tiger Woods Nike Polos for $9.99/E (I hate OR GW's)

Kept two for personal, listed the other two and sold one of them for $32+Ship within a couple hours.

Great advice, I never would have thought of that on AirPods!

Non working game consoles are another item that are perfect for splitting. I had a broken PS2 fat and I dissected that thing and made like $50 off of it. The faceplate with the PS2 logo, the tray, the ribbon piece inside....all sorts of stuff can be broken down and sold piecemeal.

So I just picked up a giant box of books from a local auction for $17. Most of the books are old role playing game type books (That’s why I bought them). There a bunch of old dungeons and dragons books and more from all different types of role playing games, mostly from the early 1980s.

Also included, were a bunch of anime, manga, fantasy type books. I’m hoping someone has some knowledge of this type of stuff.

First question is about these. I can find them on sold items on eBay. They’re smaller in size. Most have. sold for $5-$10. Would you recommend selling them as a lot? I’m thinking yes.

Next is this group. They’re anime, comic type books but with sturdy glossy covers. I searched and can’t find any of them anywhere. Let me just say they are extremely graphic and very sexual in nature. Think XXX comics. Does anyone know what they are and if they’re worth anything? Should I sell them as a lot?

Last are these three. Obviously from some type of role playing game. There’s nothing sold on eBay. There are currently two copies of the yellow one on eBay priced at $378 and $525. Anyone have any info on these? There are these different updates so I’ll sell them together. Are they really worth that much???

Any help with any of this is appreciated.

So I have a collection of odds and ends that have mostly been in Lego collections that I have bought off of people. Obviously none of this is Lego, but does anything in these pictures have any value? Even if it's only a buck or two, please let me know, or even if you just recognize what it belongs to as well! Thanks!!

Looks like in the second picture, you have a Fisher Price Rescue Hero, which means you probably have some of the accessories to go along with him or another character. If you lot those together you could sell it for possibly $10 maybe more if lucky. Not sure on the other stuff.

Finally back in the hunt after a 3 week break. There was a huge church sale on the other side of town. It was super crowded. No chance at electronics or games . Did find a really nice epson scanner for 5. If it’s working, worth around 125. Actually found a few personal items for me this week, usually just cards or dvds lol. Got some marvel movies and some cards. Found an untested NES for 5 probably get 40 out of it for parts. Best finds were at the thrift store. 2 Xbox 360 xplorer guitars and guitar hero sunburst guitars for Xbox for 3 each. Also found an Xbox 360 wireless guitar hero drum set for $5

Default Thrift Shop Pickups

Not too many garage sales this week so I didn’t get up for them. I did however go to one in my neighborhood, a rare Wednesday sale that opened at 7am. It was a great sale. I found a Juan Soto bobblehead new for $1, A nice stack of about 10 Dreamcast games for $0.50 each with some good titles, a few Wii games and nunchucks a balance board a zapper for $10 one was Super Smash Bros and one was Mario Kart (have a bunch of Wheels), 2 Lord of the Rings Lego Sets for $25 for both (one is new, one is mostly new but missing the goblin which I will buy), Beats Solo Wireless Headphones for $5 with case, 4 tins of Pokémon cards (not vintage) with a ton of holos those were $3 each, and a Bose wired headphones quietcomfort15 for $5 (my dad claimed those)

Got up this morning to head to an estate sale that was about 90 miles away. Ended up being second person there and was allowed in 30 minutes early. Ended up only spending 38.00 but should end up with some really nice items.

2 vintage enameled cast Iron dutch ovens. (Nice Mid Century modern pieces) All clothes including jackets were filla bag for 5.00 ended up with a nice fur jacket and a wool cape jacket that should bring 80-100 alone. Also got some other random vintage and non-vintage shirts. Then got a couple of resistol cowboy hats and a paid of Nocona Snakeskin boots.

Cowboy hats like Resistol and Stetson do very well!!!! The higher the XXXXX, the more they are usually worth (condition being similar).

Ended up being a good weekend. Went to another sale that was a dig but found 4 vintage looney tunes full graphic single stitch shirts. One has turned pink from being washed with something red years ago but they still should do well. Also some heavily distressed 1960s overalls they will bring 75 to 100 a pair

I haven’t been out picking in three weeks due to being busy with other stuff. Sales have been good but are really starting to taper off. Going on vacation at the end of this week so I won’t be able to add any more inventory til mid august.

Finally found NCAA 2014 at Goodwill yesterday. I was not actively pursuing the game but look at most thrift stores and finally found one.

4 estate sales this morning. Its funny how it seems everyone had the same thought I did. The sale I rated in my mind as the best was the last one I went to. The items I thought would be scopped up early were still there. I spent 70.00 on some 1950s and 60s Marx Trains and accessories should clear over 1000 on all the items when done. Picked up stuff at all the sales but most was 20 to 30 dollar return items nothing major at them.

No garage sales again for the 3rd week in a row. It’s been 100+ degrees I don’t blame people for not wanting to set up.

Heat don't slow ours down much. Its actually been slightly cooler here than most summers. Only mid 90s for the highs. Typically this time of year we are hitting our dry hot and humid period of sometimes 15 to 20 consecutive days of over 100 degree temps. A few years ago we had 24 out of 31 in August that were 110 or higher.
