I think this is a referendum on Cashman and Boone. I think the Yankees make zero trade deadline moves, deliberately. They have been given the money they need to win, or at least compete, which they have until this year.

If they do not at least make the playoffs, then both are gone.

Its not, they aren't getting fired. Hal likes what they are doing. This is like when fans think the commissioner of whatever sport is going to get fired and the answer is no, the owners are making more money, that's all they care about.

Never gonna happen. The seats at the stadium are still full. As long as the fans come to the games, people watch the games on YES, and merchandise is being sold, nothing is going to be done. Making $$$$ is all that matters to this generation of ownership.

Good news is they'll get the best draft position, they've had in years, next year.

Yes just suck for ten years in a row like the Astros used to stockpile high draft choices and hopefully get back to where they are right now.

Hope he drowns in it on its maiden voyage. Just Kidding but not by much.

Rodon proving to be the fools gold most other franchises chose to stay away from. Is 4 inning starts for the starter the new formula for the Yankees.

Serious question for all you Boone apologists in here, you already know my opinion but do you think this team has quit on him.

I think its more quit on ownership. When you see every other team competing for a playoff spot loading up and you do nothing, what message is that sending.

I think management is sending a message that they spent enough money on this underachieving team and if they want to win it’s on them to step up their game.

In further developing news Eflin has retired 10 straight Yankees and allowed only 2 hits through 5 innings yay team.

Thing is Cohen spent his money on Verlander and Scherzer who as pitchers are easier to offload as other playoff contenders are hoping they can catch lightning in a bottle. Hal listened to Cashman and signed Hicks. Stanton, Rizzo and somewhat Lemahieu to foolish contracts. Judges contract could turn out to be the worst of them all as if he keeps getting injured what good is even having him.

He sells merchandise which leads to better finishes in the boat lol
