I mean it's obvious Nettles should be a Yankee but a Twins fan can dream ... great player to know for immaculate grids, btw.

Nice selections but a lot of team duplication of late. It seems every week of late is a combo of Yankees, Reds, As, Pirates, Giants.

The only Red I'd want to see (today) would be Pete Rose. Hopefully he gets a LS card early before too many other Topps releases.

Love the Warren Spahn. Probably my favorite card in the set (along with Campanella)

Angel's art style really compliments the action poses, just as Jared excels with the portraits. Provides some interesting contrast to the set that enhances the overall product.

I’m not gonna lie, I really love the action images! Hopefully we see many more like it going forward! These should be popular for the prints. I believe WS is now the third player featured this way along with Campy and Carter?

100% Agree with this. Jared's Portraits are just amazing At the same time, some of Angel's work (Star Wars!) are amazing when he's able to capture full length. Here's hoping they give us a sweet SS/2B turning a double play one day

I don’t put Colon in the same category as the other three.

#706 & #707. Both from different weeks but make for one of the nicer back to back pairings in the set.

Dustin Fowler was the first non portrait. I’d group his card with the others as well.

He's the last card I was thinking of, too.

I think those are the only five non-portrait cards.

Seto's cards are still impressive, but you can really see the bump in quality when the artist has to focus on only one card per week. Asking her to do three cards per week for 84 weeks was too much. The quality of her artwork saw a marked improvement when she dropped to two cards per week, and even more so when Jared joined the project.

I'm grateful for her contributions and tireless work ethic for the nearly 5 years and 480 cards she created. I only wish her workload was managed properly from the beginning.

It's now been 67 cards since our last Royals player. I, of course, have suggestions. To get very specific, though, what I'd like to see is Bret Saberhagen (preferably young Sabes from around 1985), with artwork by Jared, including an easter egg having something to do with Ford trucks or the Saberhagen Shuffle. (Both being a reference to his hilariously awful KC-area Ford dealerships commercial in the wake of his '85 WS MVP, which Jimmy Fallon briefly brought back into the light during the Royals 2015 WS run. It can be viewed in all its glory at https://youtu.be/QyVnOBdKw64?si=ElJfccsfsG8qoht_ )

That's not too much to ask, right?

With all the talk about Del La Cruz with 25 steals and on pace for 99 how about a Vince Colman and Lou Brock Card?

There have only been 8 seasons with 100 stolen bases in the modern era and Colman has 3 of 8. The others, Henderson (3), Wills. Since we already have 2 of the 4 let's get the other two. Brock is inevitable as he's a Hall of Famer but let's get Vince Colman in the set.

I'm surprised to see two Pirates rookies in the last three weeks, and four Pirates overall in the last 10 weeks. Pittsburgh fans must be loving this.

Great to see Davis finally included. I know more than one Cincinnati fan has been clamoring for him.

Franchise wise, there are only five still in the teens with regard to cards released.
  • Arizona Diamondbacks - 18
  • Colorado Rockies - 14
  • Kansas City Royals - 17
  • Miami Marlins - 19
  • Milwaukee Brewers - 17
I'm not surprised to see three of the last four expansion teams in the bottom five of card releases, but I would definitely like to see more Royals and Brewers added to the set.
