No clue why you wandered into this thread. Or why you want to talk about Justin Fields, and compare his career to the illustrious Case Keenum.

And I'm really stumped on how you associated me listing the top Edge Rushers, according to ESPN, and how that equates to me having a bad day.

I'll send you my OnlyFans link in a PM. Its obvious you are desperate to chat with me. I'm game! I just cant do it for free. Not with you anyway.

I'm good. Get Justin on. He needs a career after football. Tell him EB wants to know why he is so bad.

Sean Mannion is on the practice squad and I imagine he’ll be on the roster asap though that’s nothing to look forward to. I’d rather have Hall get the start which I assume he will. Mullens can return as early as week 10 but I have no idea how bad his back injury is. They will sign someone soon. Probably will be a very underwhelming move. I imagine Hall and Mullens if he’s healthy will be QB1 for the rest of the season. It’s too bad because I was starting to feel pretty good about this team and the season for about 3 and 1/2 qtrs. Can’t imagine this season going anywhere but down from here unless Hall surprises us all.

I’m finding it funny though all the sudden love for Captain Kirk. I love his play and loved him as our qb since after a kind of rough first season (I was convinced he wasn’t a good signing after season 1 in purple). Most Vikings fans seemed to constantly complain about his play and how he was the thing holding us back from being a true contender. The countdown to his contact being voided next season was real thing for a ton of Vikings fans. I guess some people don’t know what they have until it walks out the door.

Already love all the Brady rumours too haha like O’Connell carrying his clip board for a season in 08 will be reason enough for him to come out of retirement haha

I am glad Cousins is injured.

Now the Vikings can move on.

Tank this season and select the best kid available.

Where is Kellen Mond when you need him?

Exact same reason why David Bakhtiari got paid. Couldn't have predicted his health would nose dive after picking up multiple 1st Team AP nods but he was gonna get paid.

Gary doesn't have the same career accolades Bak did at the time of his contract but he's also 26. Banking on him still growing and playing at an elite level. Seems like an overpay in 2023 but it won't look like one by 2025 assuming he continues his career trajectory.

In the end, hopefully not a waste of money. Certainly worse contracts to hand out. Betting on your own players also motivates your draft picks knowing if they do well they can be taken care of.

The Cousins hate among the Viking faithful is understandable. The team has given the man nearly $200MIL dollars, for one playoff win in 6 seasons.

He was always a good regular season QB, and kept them competitive. But was never enough to put them over the hump. In spite of being paid like a guy that could. All the money that went to him (15% of the roster payroll last year) kept them from spending money on other players.

This came for my oldest along with the other usual college junk mail. It went in the recycling bin quick, I don’t want him to get shot.

You might say you... dodged... a bullet.... with that decision.

Plus the proximity to me, Grid, and East Chicago is concerning.

For a guy who lives in Pennsylvania, where you can find McKees Rocks (with a crime rate of 6,409 per 100,000; this makes the city 173% more dangerous than the national average), Darby (with 152 murders reported in 2021 out of a population of 10,667 and residents have a 1 in 22 chance of becoming victims of any type of crime), Chester, which consistently makes its way onto lists of the worst cities to live in the US and the lovely neighborhoods of North and West Philadelphia. You sure are afraid of Chicago!

I just googled the most dangerous places to live in America. To no ones surprise, a third of the list was either in Michigan or Pennsylvania. I just copied and pasted it for good old Boo.

That’s enough to throw it away without all the shootings.

I see some rumors of a Winston trade to MN. Now that would be funny.

So do the Lions end up with the #1 seed in the NFC and possibly the best record in the NFL this year?

If you said this 3 weeks ago, I'd have laughed. But with the 49ers in a tail spin, and the fact both the Cowboys and Eagles play in the same division. So they will damage each other.

With the remaining schedule, it should be a walk in the park for Detroit. They have to face the trash Bears twice. The now trash Vikings twice. The cream puff Packers. And the "We played one good game this season" Broncos.

The only test will be VS the Cowboys, in the Big D, to close out the year. That might set up the playoff standings right there.

But in the NFL? No. The Dolphins, Ravens, Jags and still the Chiefs are still going to ball out in the AFC.

Looking at the remaining schedules for the Lions, 49ers, Eagles, and Cowboys...you'd have to like Detroit's chances.
