You are correct. I think over 3K. Bedard is going to possibly double that.

Got my Bedard Collection today, $29.99 so not a bad price, prob my ignorance but I thought it was all the same set THEN chance at the auto but you get a bonus card regardless, either the auto or one of the Awards/Honors cards as the extra. Similar to Star Rookies not a bad ripping prospect if you can find it at retail as if you don't hit the lotto and hit the auto the full sets are doing ok currently and if you hit the Drafted First Awards/Honors especially you're making money selling all.

I think the rookie stars sets are so underrated, especially the parallels.

Anything that you have an abundance of to flip is underrated.

I haven't crunched the numbers, but I'd guess Rev is right. Star Rookies seems to have a higher EV% compared to S2 products. But of course it all depends on your entry price.

The Rev is correct, great value in the sets at current price and a chance for Bedard autos.

i dont hate the card, but traditionally cards from sets dont do well. The PSA 10 Bedard is rapdily heading to $50 there.

For the record, I think these Connor Bedard box sets along with the Star Rookies are duds, but I know some people are looking for them.

They're live on WM: https://www.walmart.com/ip/2023-24-U...ion/5258440463

YGs are in the mid 300s now for good raws or PSA 9s, while PSA 10s are in the low 900s. Raw availability seems to be getting low while there are piles of graded copies available.

All it takes is one desperate person for comps to start falling or the person who had multiple and see's a drop, gets scared and sells some lowering comps. Obviously we won't know but I'm sure if people held out people would still be paying more, a lot of these recent sales are best offer accepted. Where will this leave hobby though? As it's almost at the point it makes sense to just buy a Bedard than rip one, only the degenerate gamblers will look for numbered, the average person felt they won just by hitting the YG with no expectation of more.

Anyone who rips for Bedard (not for fun) is arguably a more degenerate gamblers than anyone who buys a single serial #/Outburst ect single.

Ripping is inherently degenerate.

So everyone who ripped Series 2 at release is a degen to you, got it lol

I also didn't say buy... I said anyone who will pay more for a hobby box than a Bedard YG if it gets to that point is a degenerate gambler as only they will think "The 1/1 Gold Outburst is in this box I know it" most average collector's were happy just to hit the YG base.

If a hobby goes for 299 and you can now buy a raw for 299ish and falling, yes I'd say the ripper is gambling more if the target is a Connor YG.

It made sense when a raw Bedard was 1k, now that a raw Bedard barely covers a box, it's a little sus.

I’ll bring it up again…

Dudes were paying $100 for base portraits during the first couple weeks. Absolutely absurd.

The whole craze and collapse was as predictable as the sunrise. You knew a lot of people (especially hockey noobs) would be parted from their money. It's unfortunate.

Been keeping tabs on his Game Dated Moments cards, which for his Blackhawks ones are limited to 1199 for the base and 100 for the golds (and 599 for the rookie of the month achievements... but the actual number redeemed is likely in the low 400s). The price has fallen on the initial two as more Bedard cards get released (as expected), but surprisingly the #34 with him and McDavid has actually risen in value since release, up to about $50-60, even with these cards now being physical. So much so that it's outselling his #1 Rookie Debut card ($40-50) and is on par with his #2 First Goal card ($50-60). The other three cards are selling for about 20-25 each.

Note that #34 is simply the card # in the set; there are only 6 Bedard Game Dated Moments cards (plus 3 rookie of the month achievement cards; doesn't include his Team Canada).
