Okay everyone this is hugely important. The other day I tweeted eBay saying that I've been hearing about sellers cancelling agreed upon orders after the items price increases and will they do anything about it.

Their response:

Big shout-out to green_pachyderm_cards for shipping my McGwire Efdot I purchased Friday. It doubled overnight and was afraid I wouldn't see it. Received today, and it has quadrupled.

Alright, i'm really late to the party but I bought my first 2 today.

I am only buying from Topps.com to avoid any of the ebay fiascos I have read about.

While I am a little worried about the Print Runs now as compared to before, I think by the time these cards hit the 100's....people will be buying them 3-4x as much as they are now. I can't imagine what the next Trout goes for!

Topps is already 35+ cards behind! The next dozen cards combined will have a higher print run than those 35 combined. Without hiring several multiples of new workers and going away from each card in a one touch cards bought in possibly June and for sure July will not ship until 2021.

Outside of a ban, what could eBay do? They can't really make the person ship the card to you. Would eBay take them to court on your behalf? It is in eBays best interest to have honest sellers because they get a 10% cut of these transactions.
