I wonder what’s the typical PSA grader’s salary? @ $50 grading fee - (cost/expense + time per card). Assuming 5min per card, 8hr a day = about 96 cards or $4800. That should be enough to have more than 4 grader looking at a card.

5 mins per card maybe if they are Mantle 52s. 1 min MAX on things getting sent in now.

They spend about 15 seconds looking over and assigning a grade to your card. Not sure about the rest.

Theyve knocked grades down before. Ask anyone thats used the What If trick if theyve ever had a 10 turn into a 9.

Sent in 2 of my grail items to PSA for grading. Both returned as N6. Both cards were naturally undersized sets which weren't taken into consideration. Both cards pack pulled by friends.

Contacted PSA for review, sent the cards back. They've had them in their possession for 7 days and have yet to be logged. Kinda scary. Wish I could've just paid to have them re-graded and not worried about the auto reject due to their mistake the first time.

Haven't had any of my personal collection take more than a day or two to log over the past year. Hoping this is just standard for cards sent to be reviewed.

I'm really not sure why a grader would need 5 minutes to review a modern card. A minute would suffice.

The Vick was pack pulled by me as an 8-year-old and never going to gem. Excluding that card, a 77% gem rate on my first submission ever makes me feel good. I reviewed probably 30+ cards and chose these. A few pop 1s at the bottom!

Haven't updated this in a while as I've been traveling for the past two weeks. Not much to update.

Anyone waiting on dual services, 1st one finally popped. Looks like TA is ~4 months.

All other economy non duals appear to be pushing beyond the 1 month TA. Coming up on 2 months soon. Interesting how things have slowed with that service when the number of economy submissions likely has completely stalled (I would guess, but maybe not).

Value order 1 sent off yesterday. 147 card value getting sent off today.

I agree 1 min is is sufficient but i dont think graders work non-stop like robots. They probably grade a couple cards, get distracted and pull out their phone and check social media. Lol

Has anyone sent back items to PSA at PSA's request to have them reviewed? I was wondering what my reasonable expectations should be.

I had two cards N6'd that are from a set that is naturally undersized that I believed the grader did not take into consideration. I contacted PSA and they understood the issue and requested that I mail them back so they could review them. The told me to mark certain things on the package as well as the order form which I thought meant that this would be some sort of priority.

Both of these cards were originally sent and received 5/10, entered 5/11, finished grading* 5/17, and shipped back 5/18. This was an EXPRESS order.

Upon sending back tracking shows delivered on 6/3, and the package has still not been marked received.

I had previously planned to have these cards reviewed at the National before the PSA rep contacted me and requested that I mail them back so they could rectify the issue. With the cards sitting at the facility for a full week, time is slowly drying up.

Anyone that has went through this process before with expectations please let me know. I truly expected since that this was an Express order originally, and the PSA rep reached out directly that this order would've been addressed quickly. I am a little bit worried also as these are extremely important PC cards.

When their AI technology is fully functional, with less objectivity, I don’t see why not! If the technology is accurately calibrated, there could be more disgruntled submitter because it has been proven! PEOPLE WANT 10’s!

actually if you look at the other TPG threads. People want cheap not matter what. They dont care if Cheap equals 1/3-1/2 the value of the card. They want CHEAP FEES./
