2022 Topps NOW: as we enter the Fanatics Era of Collecting

I bought two of the team sets with autograph.. because I am never able to get the limited Topps now editions for them. Go Astros!

Yeah, I'm interested to see what they put up - I won't be going after any big ticket items, but after getting a /99 of both of the Pena autos so far I feel obliged to at least try for his inevitable card tomorrow.

About an hour after you posted this, the auto sets sold out. Was that (189*6)+25+10+5+1 = 1,175 sets or have we ever learned if they withhold 10% for reasons?

The champion set autograph edition sold out pretty quick.
Honestly thought it would last for about 6-12 hrs more.
I got 4 sets and hoping to get at least one of either Peña, Bregman, or Tucker (or even Altuve).

Yeah, should be 1,175 sets sold.
Not sure if they hold back any (unless unsold which in this case isn’t).

From my orders - including guys from whom I've received some of their cards, but not all... and obviously toward the bottom of the list you're getting into such recent cards that of COURSE they're still outstanding...

A couple oddities -
I've received Manny Ramirez #378 red /10, but still waiting on the other parallels.
A bunch of Ohtani autos were recently delivered, including #817, but I'm still waiting on #678 (and so is everyone, it seems, based on an ebay search).

Dear Platinum Members,

Last night, the Houston Astros captured their second title in franchise history with a 4-1 Game 6 victory over the visiting Philadelphia Phillies, becoming the first team since the 2013 Boston Red Sox to clinch a World Series in their home building.

The club overcame an early deficit, receiving solid start from Framber Valdez, who was making his second start of the series. At one point, the 28-year-old struck out five straight Phillies batters, becoming just the second southpaw in World Series history to pull off such a feat (Sandy Koufax vs. New York Yankees, Game 1 in 1963).

Still down 1-0 in the bottom of the sixth, slugger Yordan Alvarez demolished a three-run blast off of reliever Jose Alvarado an estimated 450-feet to dead center, giving his club the go-ahead runs they would need to claim victory.

Once the final out was recorded, the Astros celebrated their victory in grand style in front of their home fans, filling the air with golden confetti throughout the multiple trophy presentations.

One of those trophy recipients was rookie shortstop Jeremy Peña - who was named World Series MVP. The 25-year-old was the heartbeat of this club throughout the Postseason - hitting .345 across 13 games and connecting on four home runs, eight RBI and 12 runs scored. Peña, who was previously named the ALCS MVP, earned his second MVP trophy after hitting .400 in the six World Series contests.

I have to say again the championship offerings just aren’t as good as they have been in the past - I said it last year and someone thought I was insulting the Braves and not Topps, but no triple auto and only a couple of auto/relics isn’t the best offering. Not even counting the Framber because it’s not like anyone is actually getting any of those.

Didn't they have a triple or something the next day? I felt like last year had 2 waves of offerings, I made a big purchase when the first drop happened then had regrets the next day when a better card was offered.

The Soto booklet was after the NLCS but the rest of it definitely came out the same day. Jake helped me with a couple of the low number only cards - strangely enough I later got an extra /5 of the Strasburg/Zimmerman relic off EBay from a seller who was offering a very fair price because it had a jewel piece in it which my /10 did not.
