My two were lumped together when paid out yesterday. So sometimes it still happens.

I submitted the 3 week option for 50 cents per card and they finished it today, two days early.

WOW, do you see what Tiger Woods 2001 Upper Deck #1 cards are going for! Need to go through some of my old $5 boxes and send some in. Do you thing this is a pump and dump -- or is this real?

The sealed product is crazy high also. Makes no sense to me given the massive over production

Their titles are lacking, especially when they can copy/paste directly from information on COMC. No mention of diffractor, Orange, etc.

Was sending a couple auctions of week to keep things fluid, going to take a break from it. They didn't let me know plan for Julian Glover for thankfully did take it down.

PSA 10 #1 were $80 on COMC last March, then saw them jump overnight for $250-$300. Afraid to look at what they are now.

Does anyone know if you can tack on cards to a shipment. I requested shipment 3 months ago October 3rd for 100+ cards and they still have not shipped. I have another 50 cards i have purchased since then, can I add them to that pending shipment any way?

Don't expect it for at least another 6 weeks.

I've sent in at least one 3-Week Guaranteed submission per month for the last few months, and all have been processed on-time or even a day or two early.

The delays are mainly occurring with Current-Year and Basic submissions.

Nope, can't do that. Once you've requested shipment, that is closed off and set in stone.

Hey everyone! I am thinking about sending a bunch of raw (non graded) baseball cards to COMC. I went on the website and I am having trouble figuring why some cards are in the category of raw, while others are put in a category (like EX-NRMT). Is this something you have to request?

The category ones usually mean there's an issue with the card, eg a small surface or corner issue.

So COMC only mentions condition of the card if they notice a flaw? Because I have seen other cards that are labeled MT?

COMC has been kicking around since about 2007, and they've changed how they do things over the years. But some items were processed under an old system which may or may not still be valid.

At the present time, if you submit a card to COMC, they will put it into a condition bucket. The default bucket has no notation. A lower bucket is EX-NM. A lower bucket than that is Good to VG-EX. Then there are buckets that have variations on Poor and Fair.

At one time, COMC would submit cards to BGS for grading, for a fee. You could indicate that you want a card sent to BGS. You could also pay $2 and request a "condition review", where they would take it out of inventory, scan it at a much higher resolution, and give COMC's opinion about the card's grade. From there, you might have it sent to BGS, or you might just keep it in the bucket.

If a card bucket says "Mint" or some such thing, it is one of these cards. I don't know if they still do raw card reviews. They no longer submit items for grading.

Unless the card is being sold by Dean's Cards. Dean's is a third-party vendor which COMC picked up years ago when they didn't think their regular customers could supply enough vintage cards. Dean's is allowed to add their cards to the COMC catalog and ship from their warehouse if an item sells. If you're looking at a vintage card and there are several grades which are in all capital letters (and usually if the price is really high) then it's probably Dean's.

So let me see if I am understanding this...the default bucket is "Raw" and if the card is NMT/MT or better it is put in that category? And if the card is less than NMT it will be designated in the lower categories?

Yes, they still have COMC Condition Review, but it now costs $6 to be put in a specific grade bucket.
If you hate seeing Dean's overpriced raw cards, you can add "-dcr" to your search and it will get rid of them.

Nominally, as in, sometimes. Sometimes they don't; it is not consistent and you have to look at every card for flaws.

I’ve had them combine 2-3 shipments into one that were all requested separately. Not at my request, just their own accord.

Same here, I send a batch a month and all 3-week guaranteed have been done on time.

You think that's crazy?

Waiting on completion due:
4/24
9/4
9/11
9/30
9/30
11/3
11/3
12/8
12/8
12/8
12/8
12/8
12/8
12/21

Some of these have only a handful of cards left to process...they just can't seem to finish them. My batches with due dates in late September/early November are the ones getting trickled in right now.
