As long as they are not currently used by departments, it appears you are ok. The ones I purchased were obsolete, just like most on sale or sold on eBay.

Regardless, both buyer and seller were very happy in this case...
There are some catogries where they selectively will pull listings or the other sellers who think they have exclusive rights to a certain category that skirts the policy will report your listings. There was an item I was selling a few years back the 2 sellers in the category would go after any seller who offered anything else.

P90x is a good example people get away with it but most people who list it end up getting their items pulled. They have also been known to suddenly start enforcing rules in some categories without any notice like over the summer they were pulling open bottles of perfume and cologne for being in the wrong category. If you put distressed in a tennis show listing for a while it would get pulled(I had one pulled and slapped in this category and the item had been already sold for nearly 45 days.)

You just never know with them.

Was at a sale yesterday they had 4 new unopened P90x sets for 3.00 each that is where they will sit too. Not worth the VERO issues they can create.

I know what you mean. I had an item pulled twice because it had the name of a well-known toy maker in the title. I even put "compatible with" in the next listing. That got pulled. Finally had to put language similar to "This is NOT (name brand)!!!"

I remember around 15 years ago or so that if you put the word Coach in a listing as in Coach Mike Ditka it would get pulled. Don't know how long that lasted before they realized the idiocy with coach being a common word with multiple definitions.

Velcro and onesie are fast ways to get a listing pulled.

Also other troublesome things can be say you want to list a NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK cd if you state used in the condition then it may not allow you to list because of the word NEW in the title.

This was a good deal for $1.50 each. Lakers is a sports specialties Twill, bulls is a drew pearson, dolphins is an Apex pinwheel. Figure I will get maybe $200 to 250 total for them.

Nice! Hat's at the local Goodwill here are usually $8-$10 each. Used. What a joke.

Some weekend pickups.

Huge lot of 1990s TMNT (sold for $45)
Peanuts Great Pumpkin figures
'8 Mile' 35 mm movie trailer film
Lot of Blue Angels (Navy demo team) signed photos
1983 He-Man Road Rippers
NIB backgammon set
Alvin French curve set (sold for $10)
Keith Urban 30 disc DVD instructional set (sold for $39)
Risk game collector's tin (sold for $18)
The Right Stuff 1st edition (sold for $15)
Saks 5th Avenue handbag (sold for $30)
Maserati rolling chassis model (sold for $300)
Vintage American flag

I have done extremely well on American flags recently. The cloth, stitched ones. I've picked up 4-5 in the past month for usually $1 each. They always sell very quickly even in pretty rough condition.

Crazy cool find today, did really well on clothes but found 2 really cool things at 2 different goodwill an 1820s French engraving, and then a hand colored French engraving from 1770 Done By George Louis Leclerc of a stone falcon. I may keep it. Not bad for $7 total.

Got to start on a larger pick today. Had limited time and cash, but pulled about 500 dollars worth of late 80s and 90s basketball and basketball packs as well as 300 or 400 old 1990s skateboard stickers that could bring anywhere from 3 or 4 dollars each to 50 or 60 each.

Still tons of old Boy Scout items more cards and vintage toys to go through.

Based on those stickers this 50 dollar purchase could flip into thousands before it is done. There are 789 of them at an average of 8.00 each. This will be a slow flip but I have already made back the money with one item I already sold from it.

Shot in the dark here ... does anyone have a XXL Detroit Lions crewneck sweatshirt? Looking for something from the 90s, Pro Player of Hanes or something similar. Let me know, thanks!

I'm on the lookout for a Vintage Betty Boop Sweatshirt Size Large.
It would be a gift for my Wife on X-mas, so PLEASE hit me up if you have something like that!

Nice find today:

Roho wheelchair cushion new in box. These retail for almost $400, should bring about $140-$150 on eBay. Paid $10.

Never heard of the brand but something like this always catches my eye. I really like finding stuff outside of my usual niche, great learning experience.

Found a bunch of vintage toys today. All unopened and still in original packaging. Some Sesame Street, Peanuts, die cast cars, Stomper type stuff.

Time for some research...

I was happy. Found 4 Pairs of UA Cargo Paints if they're not new they were worn once for 5 each. Best 20 I've spent and they fit me so while no profit I get some new pants (not a bad thing since winter is coming here in the north)

I continued the pick I am working on got 4 early 2000s harry potter lego sets for 13 dollars. 10 cash for 1 and traded an item I had 3.00 in for the remainder. One set alone goes for 300.00. Item I traded it for could have sold if I broke it up for about 150.00 to 200.00 but it went to a Corgi collector and will be kept as a set.

Hate it when that happens but sometimes you just got to.

Wow! Legos are always money! Especially vintage sets and especially at that price! Congrats!

I was in the same boat about 8 months ago when I started doing this. Here's a list of things that I look for that always seem to sell for me.

Unopened printer ink

Unopened camera film

American flags

Handheld video game consoles

Namebrand clothes (I'm sure your wife know) - with tags is a huge bonus

Hats - Filson, Resistol, Stetson, vintage truckers, vintage sports

Fishing reels - vintage fly fishing the best

Vintage toys

Legos

Vintage action figures (TMNT sell well!)

Vintage belt buckles

Cast iron - Wagner, Griswold

Board games unopened

Books - signed or popular first editions

Vintage sports clothes - starter, pro line, etc.

Nordic Ware pans

Motocross clothes

Authentic military uniform items

Build a Bear clothes

DVD TV series unopened

Pistol holsters

Archery equipment - sights, broadheads, fletchings

Avoid thrift stores plenty of other sources.

That depends on your location. I have zero other sources now that yard sale season is over in my area. Facebook used to be a good source but now in my town it's all housewives selling their clothes for 10% off what they paid for them.
