When I was stationed at Ft. Devens, Mass undergoing my primary training for the Navy, all 4 services had the same barracks buildings. The Airmen received an extra allowance of pay because it wasn't to the Air Force's standards.

So ticked off at Sears repair which uses A&E. Once again they scheduled us yesterday for a 1 - 5PM time slot. Once again, he kept calling me saying he had xx number of houses in front of us and would be there later. Around 7:30 he called and told me he was at the house prior to mine and 10 minutes away. At 9:45, I went to bed. At 10:45 my phone rang and I thought it was my alarm so I hit the button to turn it off, got up, and grabbed the phone only to discover it was a call and it was the technician. At 10:45 at night? He didn't even bother to leave a message. My wife got nasty on the phone with them today over that and the fact that they weren't going to schedule another repair visit for October 28th.

That was the 80's. They are a little harder on the Air Force now. I toured my brothers barracks at San Antonio. It wasnt that nice.

Sounds like they need at least 2 more repair men.

Glen, I want you to know that I havent said this in some time....

I dont feel like working tomorrow. Ended up working 12 hours last Thursday. Sad situation that had a semi-happy ending. Kids had off school on Friday. I am tired. Need a couple days off. I want to go on a solo trip and hike where my grandfather and I used to walk. Not sure if my family still owns the land though.
