Gerrit Cole signed on 12/16/19 and had SP’s in series 1 which released 2/5/2020. I don’t know that they have done that the last couple years, but this is hardly unprecedented and there is literally no reason to suggest they didn’t made it in hobby

I'm not sure why Topps wouldn't market these sooner unless they just figured out that they would have time to include them.

Topps promoting Rip Night on 2/24. Looks like Rip Party is not a thing. And good, move the release events back to the LCS and away from the breakers

Gotta make lunch for the family so I was only able to rip a silver pack. No numbered or anything. Nice looking backs (that I didn't take a photo of).

Blasters have 7 packs of 12 cards (used to be 7 packs of 14 cards until update last year). The two card per pack difference is why there are 14 less cards.

90% or more of Bowman cards are photoshopped.
They're not even good photoshops. Soto has yet to even put a yankees jersey on.

Reading not a strong point, huh...?? Trying to distort my post to fit your narrative! OF COURSE they'll be in Series 1, numbnuts! Craptastic/Bottoms, is clearly stating as such! I SPECIFICALLY STATED that it is virtually all but improbable that they should be found in the packs/boxes/cases which have already been dispatched!!??!

WOW!?! I thought even a 2nd Grader could've easily interpreted that!! Then,...I remembered where I was at!!

EDIT: And just so there's no future misinterpretation, I'll note; they SHOULD (keyword: should!) also be found in FUTURE, Series 1 Hobby printings.

Just finished ripping a single hobby box.

Clearly it's just a single box, but this one box had great centering and clean looking cards. Got a Jorge Mateo relic, so no auto, but I did beat the odds and got a team color match of Jazz Chisholm Jr. and those are definitely nice looking cards.

The thing that stood out the most, no duplicates at all. I ended up with 217 total base cards including 44 RC's (Jasson, Elly, Evan...) and no dupes. Again, it's one box, but it felt great seeing all the different names and no dupes.

Looking at some eBay listings, the gold foil looks real nice. The heavy lumber look terrible.

Fewer cards per box shouldn’t have dupes.

217 base cards of a 350 card set. Collation would have to be really screwed up to get dupes.

Eh, if he had any idea what he was talking about maybe. But he’s talking to someone who has opened like 1-10 cases of every flagship release the last 7 years. I know what I’m talking about

Edit: and specifically hit that Gerrit Cole on release day, or earlier, since they were in like every hobby case.

(OR,...more likely; through the backdoored, channel!!)

My ONLY question is....WHY do you always type LIKE you are CREATING dialogue.....for comic books??!?!

Haha I’m just joking. I actually find his posts fascinating. I love imagining the painstaking time it takes to format each word.
