Bc that's what he does..he hates Westbrook (though not too much because he roots for him when he uses him in daily fantasy or for betting purposes) so he rubs it when he gets. To be fair, he'll give Westbrook some credit sometimes (although backhanded lol), I wish he'd share pics of Russ when's he on (like the 4 straight triple doubles before tonight) but he won't so whatever.

Anyways about the game...I'm not making excuses for Russ last night, he played awful in the 4th, bad shots like the one he took before Abrines bailed them out and missing a straight up open look but he was also the biggest reason they were in the game. There was two points in the game where it looked like Portland would open it up in the 1st half...when they got up 20-8 and near the end of the half when they got up 9. Russ was able to help cut the lead down the first time, and then completely eliminate the lead in like a minute with 9 straight points. It is what it is...he went cold because he tries to do much...after a 16-0 run that should've nailed their coffin they STILL had a shot at at least tying the game and he missed an open look..which players do. It happens....sucks in a tight playoff race to lose a game you should've won but oh well..onto the next one.

yeah Westbrook is the clear MVP this year what he is doing after Durant left the team is ridiculous, he's damn near unstoppable when he is on.

Nah I totally agree it's petty, trollish, and childish to come into a thread that's purely a pro Russ thread and post in it if you aren't a fan of him. I know I know "there's no rules against it" blah blah...but I still don't understand people's train of thoughts when doing it. To me, if you want to take shots a Westbrook go to the Who should be MVP thread. I guess different people do different things though to make themselves feel good. It's annoying but there's no way around it. It's one thing to have a debate, but it's never that..it's just typical trash Westbrook when he plays poorly, call him selfish, say he'll never win a title etc...and then for most (though again Tennellson at the very least doesn't run away from this thread when Russ does good) ignore everything else

I'm not so certain about the triple-double anymore. Sitting at 10.0 assists right now, with his assist numbers on the decline. Has had 10 or more assists in only 6 of the last 15 games (since beginning of Feb).

Did you even watch the game? He had a much better shooting pct than the rest of those scrubs would have with those shots.
