All I want to do is talk about COMC

I know we knock COMC all the time on here for various things, but I did want to share one solid experience.

I bought over Thanksgiving weekend and added all my 'waiting to be shipped" along to it. I submitted an economy rushed order, hoping it would be here by Christmas.

Requested 11/27
Shipped Per COMC 12/2 (actually received by post office 12/4)
It's out for delivery today 12/7

Granted, it was economy rushed...first time I'd ever elected rush anything...but the projection was 12/18 and it's here 11 days prior.

Now, just catch up on processing and reopen basic so I can start submitting again.

I woke up with more money in my account than what I was thinking I would have, but it was not my $25 from the weekend. I made a nice sale!!!! Super happy for that.

I love it when Tim stated this year is "our BIGGEST savings & promotions" Out of the 10 years I have done the Black Friday Sale this year is in the bottom half of the years for me.

I'm waiting for my money also. Too bad there was not more good buys for me.

I splurged on one card for most of my money. Still debating on whether to send it home or relist it as a flip. If they offered PSA submissions I may even choose that. But with the delays in shipping I have plenty of time to think about it.

Yes I had X amount of dollars to spend on this years sale. I spend some time before the sale and looked at cards trying to figure out do I spend it on a couple of higher dollar cards or go for a lot of cheap stuff. As I'm a guy that would like 50 $1 cards vs one $50 card. I went with cheap stuff and a couple of mid range cards. That is the way I collect.

Quick submission question:

How accurate does my estimated value need to be? I have a wide range of values in my submission and I guess I could go back through all 200 of them individually and come up with a value if I really had to do so.

I wasn't sure how important this number was.

Anyone else have this experience? I requested shipment on an order on August 24th that hasn't been shipped yet, but another order I requested on October 16th was shipped a few days ago. I reached out several teams via email to no avail...

Me too, but I splurged on one card that I felt was priced pretty low compared to recent eBay sales and was selling for twice the price during the season. It’s always a risky move but I figured I was playing with house money so to speak so I bought it. The rest were definitely low end purchases with only one other over $10. All were for my PC but I did flip one bc someone ended up listing the same card cheaper than I had bought one for already so I bought the cheaper one and flipped the one I previously bought for a nice $1 profit, lol!

I don’t think it is. My last submission I estimated like $5 a card and it seems like I wasn’t too far off when looking at my sales history from it.

i am sorry for asking this but cant find a recent result, how has the 3 week guaranteed been looking as far as a turnaround?

I have a 3 week guarantee due 12/11, they have about half the cards processed so far.

What’s the best way to send PSA slabs in for submission? If a box inside of a box, what size box works best to avoid damage during shipment? Thanks

I have a 3 week sub of 250 cards that was originally due 9/28, and is now 20% with a date of 12/15, nothing actually added into inventory yet.

Not very accurate. I think they just want you to consider it so that when you ship to COMC, you can pick the right amount of insurance from the mail carrier.
