So the youngest Step Daughter has been home sick for two days. She is now showing symptoms of scarlet fever (something the oldest Step Daughter had well before I met my wife). They are at Patient First now.

Yikes! They get back from Patient First last night and it turns out she has Hand, Foot, & Mouth Disease. She is now wearing gloves and we pretty much used Lysol on every surface in the house last night as she is still contagious until Monday.

All boxes busted. The best box by far was the 2008 SPx (see thread in the Baseball Box Break forum) for results. The Bowman Chrome boxes did yield an Austin Romine RC auto. The Topps Series 1 jumbo yielded a nice Andre Dawson GU bat relic.

The 2008 SPx box was so awesome though, that I immediately ordered 2 more from Blowout since they are still on sale.

So happy watching the Patriots lose 2 in a row now. I mean I hate the Eagles with a passion since I grew up in that area, but I hate the Patriots more.

Awww man. I watched the Browns lose and then watched the Pats lose. For the 2nd week in a row. I mean you expect the Browns to lose, but it's rare they both lose in the same week. Such a bummer.

Man that sucks!

I love driving too, so I wish there was never traffic. My wife was gone all weekend at a craft show with the car. She came back today and I drove for like 5 minutes and it was AMAZING. Driving rules when the road is free.

Yeah traffic stunk on the way home. Police action right at the exit I was getting on the beltway and then an accident blocking 2 lanes of MD-210 which is already horrific at this time of night.

Back to work. Of course I immediately get to use my new Proposal Writing skills next week when I ma acting as the boss since I was just hit up to lead a proposal with a small business. So, next week is going to be massively hectic.

No new cards won the last two days while I was in class. I am still looking for someone selling a Yankees set from the 2015 Bowman Draft. I have my eye on some of the Aaron Judge parallels too, but now I am wondering if he won't be traded to possibly get Jose Fernandez and then my collection will be for not.

Picked up the 2015 Bowman Draft Yankees set tonight and the 2015 Bowman Draft Chrome Refractor Aaron Judge card. My guess is that he will be traded soon since I am going after his cards.

At 11:30 this morning, my boss will be out for the next two weeks for surgery and I will be in charge of all Navy and Marine Corps Intelligence Programs. I'm sitting here at my desk waiting for all heck to break loose.

Busted my two boxes of this yesterday and hit the motherload for a Yankees fan:

The rest of the two boxes were so good that I bought another 2 boxes from Blowout. I guess you can say that I am addicted to busting this product as this will make 5 boxes. I thought about busting a case but I couldn't justify putting $499 on my credit card.

So my boss called me up on his way out the door and sent over a bunch of documents relating to another contract he is working on with another company. Of course I needed to reach out to 20 people and get additional information needed from them for the bid or find replacements for them within the company as these are representative resumes only at this point. Random thoughts for the day: I didn't plan using my FSA well this year so now I'm scrambling to use over $1K on eye and dental. I'm going to get an eye exam and two pairs of glasses - bringing gf along so she can help pick the frames.

Had a second interview at FedEx to work part time in the evenings loading trucks. It's mindless, it's a good workout and it makes me feel productive bringing in extra money.

I deactivated my Facebook last weekend. Too many posts from uninformed people about Islam, Muslims, guns, Donald Trump, etc. I don't miss it.

For the first time ever I'm going all gift cards for Christmas. It's just strange to think I can come up with something useful and thoughtful to give to grown adults with their own money that I don't see day-to-day. Maybe I'm being a scrooge but my divorce humbled me when it comes to money. I got my mom a $115 digital camera last year and she still doesn't know how to use it.
