2020 was around 12 if I remember correctly.

No clue on 2021/2022, only know 2020 because the Shuffle card

I will cross it after BGS goes out of business or 9s surpass 9.5 value. Both may be soon! But for now, I paid for the grade so I'll keep it

Thanks, I guess that does make sense for 2020 and 2021, but 2022 is different.

In 2020 the odds of hitting a wave refractor were 1:112, Gold Refractor /50 1:27, Red Refractor /5 1:264. 4 times harder than hitting a gold ~12

In 2021 the odds of hitting a wave refractor were (again) 1:112, Gold Refractor /50 1:29, Orange Refractor /25 1:57, Red Refractor 1:284. Twice as hard as Orange so ~/12

In 2022 the odds of hitting a wave refractor are 1:113, but now Gold Refractors /50 are 1:122 and Reds are now 1:1,215. If the math works above then the wave refractors are now a much larger print run ~50?

I think I overpaid for mine. lol

Truth is who cares about the score. Shohei keeps producing and likely assuring he will be playing elsewhere next year or even this year at trade deadline. He is just on a different level.

These are the types of games that opposing teams will pitch to him. The 2-1 games not as much.

Best thing for him and the Angels is to lose every game (that he doesn't pitch) between now and the deadline. The Angels best bet is to trade him for whatever young haul you can get.

Braves would never do it. They're paying Acuna nothing for the next handful of years...and zero chance they resign him as they wouldnt pay anything near what he will get. It would be a borrow for a few months which leaves them with nothing the day after the season ends.

Moreno would be wise to deal Ohtani at the deadline to acquire a good/great haul in return but he’s never been accused of being baseball wise. I don’t think they have a snowball’s chance at resigning him.

What is the reasoning for PSA becoming so high valued anyways? This week was the 2nd time I had a card which was graded a PSA 8, come back a 10. Just cracked the slab, didn't do any cleaning or anything. Not sure how that type of consistency can be so highly valued. I prefer their website and all that but..

PSA 8 to 10 is usually a grader considering a raised edge as damage. Some graders are more lenient on this, especially on older cards. It's subjective but relatively consistent. You just get unlucky sometimes and have to know when to PSA (please submit again).

Angels will just mess up whoever they trade for anyway so they might as well keep him.

Shohei pushing his avg back up to .302 and OPS to 1.050
Heading into the ASG with MLB leading 32 HR and MLB leading 6 triples.
Best hitter in the league
Has 132 K as a pitcher.

GOAT 1st half?
