My other smaller transfers go through perfectly fine instantly. I've only ever had this problem with 2 transfers, and both have had big dollar cards in them.

I'm half wondering if every card has an estimated value attached to it, and if there is any card above that value in the transfer, it has to be manually pushed through by COMC instead of instant. Just a theory. But its a huge coincidence otherwise.

My thoughts exactly. No shot I spend any $ on items to have them shipped on that sale. Only way I would even consider it is if it was for a straight flip that never leaves COMC's site.

Personally I'll buy PC cards if the deal is good (I have about 60 cards sitting waiting to be shipped that I am in no hurry to try and get), but yea running a black friday sale is dumb when its taking 4 months to ship cards and people have submissions from May/June still waiting to be loaded to the site.

The lack of self awareness is amazing.

We know the sale will go on, but we don't know details of any shipping offers that will go hand in hand with the sale. I think it would be foolish to have the sale but anger customers with shipping delays - one major aspect of Black Friday is shopping for presents. My guess is that there is a shipping option to get things delivered by Christmas (for how much $$ is the question).

Anyone ever had a vintage card marked evidence of trimming when submitted to COMC? Just curious what my options are - there is little chance it really is trimmed based on what I know about it.

I had this for years in my account, obviously poor condition. Then I sent it for auction when they started with the auctions, and it was removed for "evidence of trimming".

All of these had been kicking around for years. All of them got removed when I sent them to auction for "EVIDENCE OF TRIMMING". I don't see why they still couldn't be auctioned off. They are genuine vintage cards and the bidding starts at 99 cents. Let the bidders know that you think there was evidence of trimming and let them decide how much they want to pay.

But, they sometimes pick really weird things to have a hard-nosed stance on. Looking at you, 1962 Civil War News card with a Confederate flag in the background.

I wish your post made me feel better but it doesn't. The card in question is a Mantle that has been in the possession of one person (a relative) since it was pulled from a pack in 1968.

Default Evidence

I had a few factory miscut cards that they just labeled evidence of trimming which clearly they were not, i have never been confident in their vintage grading so never sent them big dollar cards

I had a vintage Goudey card I previously bought on COMC, had it in my possession for about 2 years or so in a "waiting to grade" box, and when I started back up on COMC again this year, I figured I would just send it in and sell it that way.

They processed it and everything was fine, no notes or anything. I had it up for sale for awhile, and then I thought I would try out the auction service and sent it for that....and it came back evidence of trimming, even though they had just processed it into my account weeks earlier, without even a condition note. It has been in limbo ever since.

Since it is so tough to contact them currently, it has remained there and I will either just send it back home, or try to talk to someone about it. My guess is your card will have the same fate.

This is looking more like the time when they started refusing cards because of damage. (what they though as damaged) You had to pay more or send them back.

My one batch was 15% damaged so i paid up. only one had a note put on it.

Is there a way to add every card from a specific seller to your cart?

Wouldn't that be a port sale? I don't know the answer so I'm really asking that question.

If you add one card to your cart from the seller and then hit the make offer button there is an option to "Add all cards from this seller" next to the Remove all cards from this seller button.

This is normal. Same thing happened to me on my last two shipments that arrived there on a Saturday. Both were delivered with no problems on Monday.

Still a comc fanboy. Up to over 130 nice Kobe cards... again nothing "valuable" but all cards I really dig. I get real happiness out of finding a cool kobe insert for >$5.

Has anyone ever had an issue with adding $ to comc but it not going through? I made a small deposit this morning around 2am. PayPal has sent the money it shows all good on their end?

I came in here to ask and saw that someone had posted a link to speak to them via email. Yall are the best

Hopefully it clears soon. I would imagine it isnt the easiest to get ahold of them with as busy as they are?

Most paypal transfers to COMC are very quick (minutes), but some get delayed for a few hours. Not sure why.

Looking to submit cards to COMC but the site is very hard to understand when it comes to all the rules of exactly how to submit cards with all the different fees and levels and services etc. can find one be kind enough to answer these questions for me as I can seem to figure it out as it’s too confusing for me.

1. How much does it cost to submit a graded card?

2. How much does it cost to submit a game used relic card?

3. Do you send regular cards in penny sleeves or raw?

4. Do you send in a graded card with a protective sleeve to avoid case scratching or send it in with no sleeve?

5. When submitting cards how do you break down the groups do you batch them by year, brand, sport, type? Example group one football cards, group two hockey cards? Group three graded cards, group four 2020 topps update, group five autographs? Etc (are you allowed to mix type of cards or do they have to be broken down by category type?

6. Can you buy a card on eBay from comc and have it transferred to your comc account if so how do you do that?

7. Can you really make good/decent money selling/flipping on comc?

Thank you so much for your help. It’s much appreciated.

1) Whatever the base service level is plus the 50 cent add-on for slabbed cards.
2) Depends on the width of the relic card. Base service level plus $1 if it exceeds 130 points width. https://www.comc.com/StandardSize.pdf
3) Most of the chrome ones I penny sleeve, the paper ones under $10 I just leave raw in 800 count boxes. Sometimes I group them in team bags.
4) You can do either.
5) You do not have to break them up into any groupings by card type. They will identify the cards for you. You break them up into submissions by service level (Elite, 1-week, 3-week, current-year).
6) Yes, click on Auctions Won from My Dashboard and it will walk you through the steps.
7) Yes, there are a bunch of sellers that make $10K or more profit annually by flipping cards on COMC. Biggest way to keep your profit margin is not to waste your profits reinvesting in busting packs (group breaks, box breaking yourself, or Upper Deck ePack site).
