The complete picture is that you can't just be the most talented player or the player with the best stats to be the GOAT. Those things are important but you also have to find a way to win even when you are facing great competition. Excuses can take a walk. Lebron has won a lot and done some amazing things but 3 Rings and 5 Finals losses? That doesn't in any way measure up to guys like MJ, Kareem, Russell, etc. Not even close. And none of those guys were in a position to completely curate the roster of the teams they played on the Lebron is. Also, every single one of those guys was going up against Hall of Fame competition.

You just cannot compare players that MJ and LeBron (and the other legends) each faced, the teams they faced, the teammates they had, the different sets of rules, the playoffs formats, etc. Heck they don't even play the same position!

Swap LeBron with Russell and LeBron may have 10 titles, and Russell 2. Swap MJ with Wilkins and MJ could end up with no championship. Jerry West instead of Kobe, he may have 6 titles.

Swap MJ with Wilkins and MJ may ask for a trade after an unsuccessfull decade in Atlanta. Swap LeBron with Russell and LeBron may have stayed 20 seasons in Boston.

3 rings and 5 Finals Losses? So what, would it make it better if he had lost more times in the first round? It sure looks that way...

I believe the Cavs can beat the Rockets if they both made it to the Finals. However, I don't think the Cavs can beat the Celtics game 7. We all know that Lebron will do his thing, but his supporting cast is not going to show up. I hope that I'm wrong but it's going to be sad to watch Finals without Lebron playing in it.

Some of this stuff is pretty hilarious.

The point is, LeBron, West and Wilkins had full careers, they had plenty of opportunities to win, but they sh*t down their legs over and over. The cream always rises to the top.

For me Tim Duncan would have won wherever he went. He's had some pretty average line ups over the years, some names are worse than the 07 Cavs that people constantly put down.

LeBron may win some more, but you can't just keep getting easy rides to the finals, lose by a lot, and then turn around and say it's your teammates.

The Celtics and Philly are going to be better next year so it will not get any easier for LeBron. If he want's to bandwagon hop again to make life easier to compete with GS, HOU seems like it would be the best logical destination.

Because your knowledge of the game is so limited, I'll help you out. Here's a bunch of guys that started bulk games for the Spurs, but most were out of the League or did nothing after Tim Duncan. TD still won championships with most of these guys.

Jaren Jackson
Avery Johnson
Malik Rose
B. Bowen
R. Nesterovic
N. Mohammed
F. Oberto
G. Hill
D. Blair
T. Splitter

If these guys were with the Cavs/Heat and LeBron, they'd get thrown under the bus as being trash and the reason why LeBron is losing.

Sorry, but the greatest players win championships, no excuses.

I don't need to refute what you are saying because your comments discredit themselves. You are no doubt the worst basketball analyst on this site and that really says something because you have a lot of competition.

We aren't all debating whether or not Lebron is great. We are debating whether or not he is the greatest of all time surpassing all others. I don't think you make that case by claiming your failures are more impressive than other peoples victories.

Lol, you forget to mention the other two hall of famers on the squad for each of the Finals. Ha. So what you're saying is some of the spurs 4th to 6th options weren't as good as Lebron's 2nd option with the Cavs which makes the Spurs lineups "average". That's some stellar logic right there.

Damn, you're like a modern day Forest Gump.

FYI there's 5 starters in basketball. Not sure how a starter can be 6th option.

You just called George Hill really good two pages ago and acted like he’s a perfectly fine second option on offense next to LeBron. Which is it?

I always loved G. Hill. Put him in there because of how "trash" the LeBron homers say he is.

Man I don’t know what to make of this series. I’d be shocked if C’s win tonight.
