I played Elden Ring for about two weeks before my son took his PS5 back to college. I was rushing at the end to try and beat it but came up short.

Played Overwatch "2". I use quotations because it's more like Overwatch 1.5.

Literally the only difference is a few moves are tweaked
3 new characters
a couple new levels
1 new mode
it's 5 on 5 instead of 6 vs 6 (this seems more like a downgrade to me)
A few graphical upgrades (they gave some players beards lol)
A Battlepass to unlock new items instead of the chests you used to open (this is also a downgrade)

Other than that it's the same Overwatch, same intro, same moves for 90% of the characters, same levels, same modes, etc

Just an fyi in order to play the game you must give them your phone number and I guess phones without monthly subscriptions like Boost mobile/Trac Phones will not work as valid phone numbers. People have been pretty angry about this.

Playing through Skyrim...again, but this time with my early-teen daughter (she kept asking). I'm being a bit selective about the missions, though, as some can get a bit too mature. We are having a blast! I'm amazed this game is over 10 years old.

I enjoyed Overcooked 1 and 2 when they came out.

Then I saw PlateUp! and definitely had to give it a shot.

Did not disappoint and really enjoyed the game with multiplayer action.

I always get an urge to start a new Skyrim playthrough each fall. Not sure why, might be something about the cool MN fall air that I envision being similar to some of the regions in Skyrim

Haven't really played anything the past few years, just been too busy. But I randomly stumbled upon the COD MW2 PS5 pre-order bundle on Playstation direct last week and went for it. Got the order confirmation and charge to my CC a couple days ago. Pumped!

I played a decent amount of the Beta, what was the last COD you played? They nerfed the movement a bit from WZ/Vanguard, so should play more like older CODs at least until people find the new slide cancel.

I played a little of Black Opps and Warzone but not much at all. Really looking forward to the PS5 and MW2

I agree its underwhelming with the amount of content released. I'd almost consider it a large patch than a sequel.
It definitely plays different than the original release, and feels more brawly with less shields. It's hard for me to say if I enjoy it more or less than OW1.

The monetization is the worst part about it, I had almost all the skins from OW1, and I can't imagine spending $10-20 per skin for the old ones...definitely too pricy.
Other than that, I am fine with the Battlepass concept, and it gives me something to casually play throughout the season.

I guess the new MWII is pretty good, but then again, I hear about the new CoD every year. I'll give this one a chance though. I've enjoyed most of the Infinity Ward games.

I put so many hours into MW2 online and it was my favorite in the series. That being said as much as I'm sure I would enjoy it...I feel like I would get bored quickly as it feels like a been there done that. 50 on 50 mode would be fun but again nothing ground breaking. Definitely one of those games that is more fun with a full squad which work hours have ruined for the old crew.
