Honestly are we ever going to get to point where stuff will go "on sale"? I still see 2020-21 Chronicles nba hangers that are just never going to move at $30 for 2 stuff like that. All these 2021 playbook megas for $44.95 that will never sell out. Etc

If Target got rid of the exclusion of "trading cards" from their routine Circle offers they put out (as they did in the past), then they probably would move more of it.

Those were the days... I swear I saw recently where some trading cards were eligible for discount and some weren't (or it could have been Pokemon or Magic and not SPORTS) ...I'd be fine with that

There was a bunch through out the day. Kept selling out and then coming back. I was able to buy 3 yesterday around 12 noon PDT

Found prizm nba in store in upstate ny.

Ripped a couple blasters, pulled Scottie Barnes and kuminga purple wave rookies beautifully centered only to have a horizontal line in the same exact spot on the card. Unreal!

Are the 75th anniversary cards really case hits as people say? Pulled a KG have no idea how rare they are. They have 3 cracked ice parallels per blaster. Honestly blasters are a really fun rip this year. Jerseys aren’t as frequent but I’m totally ok with that

I was thinking about flipping the ones that I bought, but the 75th and the cracked ice are too good to pass up. I don't like jersey, or autograph in past years, I rather see color, or shiny stuff.

In addition the 2022 chronicles DP boxes that have been up, looks like Target sometime today dropped the 2021 Chronicles Football.

they dropped them yesterday and the blasters went oos after a few hours. looks like they are back.

Anyone have any thoughts about UFC select as a hold? I don’t know much about the sport but I remember being at a card show recently where someone said they wish there was more UFC prizm from last year

i wouldn’t expect much return holding it. i’m hearing people saying they enjoy ripping it, personally i ripped 4 and the hilight was an auto of someone i’d never heard of.

could be a fun rip but i wouldn’t tie up money holding it, i can’t see it ever matching last years prizm.

With retail you're def not chasing autos or #d cards, while still possible, highly unlikely. They do have their own exclusive hits (prob 1:40 blasters). If chasing autos, memorabilia and #'d parallels, then you've got cough up the dough for hobby boxes.

...yes, agree on all of that, but it's a bit beside the point. The person I quoted suggested the boxes he saw ripped weren't 'loaded' because the contents weren't very good. The person HE was quoting had said the boxes were 'loaded' as in 'made available for sale on the website.'

Same, actually only one order (3 Chronicles Fat Packs) has shipped out of 7 orders made on 7/26 and 7/28. No Prizm FB, Prizm BKB, or Chronicles Blasters/Other Fat Packs orders have shipped for me.
