I'm here to help anyone that thought prices were going to go up forever. Nobody could have possibly seen a decline. You are all victims. I will pay comps from one month ago.

So will prices revert back to off season pricing? That would be great...I haven't bought anything recently and would like to go back to buying.

Just off this one start? Nope. IMO only way that happens is if the MVP starts to come into question, via bad slump or significant time missed.

Lot of people buying in because of pure hype. Same crowd that begs for attention online because they're insecure or inadequate human beings.

You’re not wrong but no reason to overpay by 20% in a bubble when you can wait a few weeks/months and get better bang for your buck.

sure, depending on what one is buying.

and at the end of the day owning the card should be the most important thing, not percentage lost (or gained)

ROEnjoyment > ROI

What's nuts is that I thought this would splash some cold water on people's faces and after the game, I sold three TC 150 base chromes 10s for $340 each to different people. Maybe too many holiday libations.

People probably don’t know, the TBS postgame is not really mentioning anything injury wise.

He's not even really injured. It's just wear and tear. Has the ASG and can be moved back in the rotation after the break. My impression was that people had completely unrealistic expectations of him.

part of the enjoyment for me is knowing I made a good buy. I don’t get as much enjoyment from a card that is worth 20% less than I paid as I do from one that is worth 20% more than I paid.

It’s not a traditional injury that would keep him from hitting, but a blister/cracked nail is something that has IL’d pitchers before.

Hopefully this puts a little cold water on the run away prices so I can pick up a couple cards im eyeing.
