Super Mario Bros
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Wii Sports Resort
Mario Sports Mix
Donkey Kong Country Returns
Mario Kart (Needs to be resurfaced)

Those are some insane games to get. Those are always the first thing to go and you just have to get lucky.

Great find today! Got a Bose wave Acoustic II radio with the matching 5 Disc CD changer. It works great when put together, but the display on the radio lights up but doesn't show anything. $25 for that, and a Suite 700 Ozone Generator for $10

Didn’t get to go out today again as I was babysitting again but I gave my mom some money to pickup stuff for me. Only 2 things. I will be able to get back out next week.

Picked up something today I never thought I would and I bet most of the guys here haven't either. Went to a rummage sale and everything was free, they just said they have to get rid of it all. Found a couple of power supplies to something. I open up the bag and in it are two breast pumps. Felt odd about taking them but I figured they have to be worth something. Looked them up when I got home and it appears they go for about 20-25 each and they should be simple to ship. Also for $10 I picked up a really nice official Canon camera bag, looks like it had hardly been used, as well as a box full of NIP fishing lures. I don't think the fishing lures are worth alot but I figured if I got them cheap enough they are again easy to ship and I should be able to make something off of them over time.

Not a bad day garage sailing. Found about 20 vintage TMNT figures, all appear to have accessories. Found a nice tub of vintage castle, knights, pirate LEGO, lots of mini dogs and some cool island/water plates.

Good finds. Didn't have much luck when going out today. Been on a roll with RL Stine Goosebumps books though. Such an easy flip and you can usually find them for around a quarter at garage sales. Also picked up Mario Superstar Baseball for the Gamecube for $1 and a WWE NXT championship kids belt for .25 cents

Do you just put those goosebumps in a lot? Seems like most sell for a couple of bucks.

Yeah I lot them altogether. The first edition versions sell a little better, especially if you can complete the original set, books 1-62. I'm 11 books away for my personal collection (I read them as a child) and they normally sell for $200+.

I just sold a lot of 39 that I paid a total of $5 for for $55 shipped and found 15 more today that I'll get anywhere between 25-$35 for and only paid $3. Plus media mail shipping prices ends up with a decent profit.

I just pick up ones and two's where I can find them, sometimes I find 15-20 of them at a time, but I just build up a stack until I get enough to lot together and then sell.

Lots of paperbacks are like that If you can lot up lots of the same author you can make some nice money. Last one I sold was 14 Agatha Christie paperbacks for 45.00 cost less than 5.00 to ship and paid 25 cents each. I usually try to do lots of 10 or more.

Same can be said for the Disney VHS, I mentioned earlier in this thread. .25 cents a piece at most Goodwill's plus a ton, and I mean a ton, of garage sales are giving them away for free now in their "Free Box" because they all went to Disney plus and it's decent profit. I've sold 160 VHS tapes in the past month and a half, one lot of 80 at $100 and 2 other 40 lots at $50 a piece for a total of $200. Media mail once again. All three lots lasted under a month on eBay.

Side note, the 14 Goosebumps books, I found today, already sold under 24 hours for $30 shipped. Profited $19. Just an FYI for those looking to expand their category search.

Barney VHS, Teletubbies VHS, and sports VHS sell in lots. Cassettes are another one as well as CDs and DVDs as well but those can still be priced high at sales. I usually buy the remainders from estate sales and such I have bought them as low as 5 cents each.

Another thing that has become a niche for some is recorded TV broadcasts. People love these for the old commercials.

Cool never even thought about books like that. I remember babysitters club, and they seem to sell well also.

Had an incredible weekend picking. Garage, yard, rummage, estate sales were everywhere! Lots of good stuff. Here’s my haul

Human heart model NIB
Fenway park kid saw puzzle
10 pkg. HP printer ink
2 cribbage boards NIB
Chicago Cubs letterman coat
Chicago Bears letterman coat
1990 Hoops mini book S1 complete set
Babe Ruth Ted Williams button
5 unopened VHS tapes
Wool rich 2xl flannel
Jax Jags 4 xl jacket
Vintage bird book
Vintage Boy Scouts hat
Vintage die cast WWII fighter
Catch Phrase electronic game NIB

Paid $113 for all of it.

Then we stopped at an antique store. My wife got 16 vintage cast iron pans for $150. Four of them will sell for well over $100 each.

Your wife has made more off of thrifted/found cast iron than I’ve made in my whole life.

I usually pass them up unless they are ready to go. I like profits not projects.

My wife is all about the project. We just retired our garage to accommodate a junker oven strictly for seasoning cast iron pans.

So in my pickups this weekend that I listed above were some printer ink cartridges. When I first got into thrifting, that was one item that everyone always said to pick up if it was cheap. I’ve done well on the few I’ve found in the past.

Two cartridges I got yesterday sold for $20 and $25 today. He had a lot of ink cartridges when I was there yesterday so I went back today. I got all this today for $20.

Not included in the picture are the the boxes of empty cartridges. I was just getting ready to throw them in the garbage and I thought I’d check eBay. I never knew there was a market for empty’s. Here they are.

Empties can be refilled. They can also be stripped for parts including 20/24 kt gold.

You just hit a jackpot dude, congrats! If all that ink was $200 I know so many people that would hand over two bulls no questions asked.

Congrats!
