That wasn't someone from the Braves grounds crew... it was a topps representative securing it for Topps Now Relics to be released later today.

They could use first base... that's the base he initiated the stolen base from.

You may be right... amazing if they could secure 1st base. No emails yet as of 120pm, so looking like MAYBE negotiations are still in progress.

Only thing we know is there will be a res window indicating it will not drop to everyone to start. So guessing 50 Plats, if they took the extra time to negotiate a relic, we hope a base, then they will likely go up to /199 and add in /75 too. Should not have a limited offering on this one.

A little bit of everything last night. History, career milestones, celebrity first pitches, & a hero’s send-off!

Braves superstar & National League MVP favorite, Ronald Acuña Jr. made even more history by becoming the founder of the 40-70 club! His steal of second base in the 10th inning of a hard-fought matchup between the Atlanta Braves and Chicago Cubs was Acuña's second of the night and 70th this season, making him the first player in MLB history to hit at least 40 home runs and steal 70 bases. Acuña has 41 homers, extending a historic season that already saw him become the first 40-50 and 40-60 player. He is the second Braves player with 70 steals in a season since 1900.

Actress Danielle Fishel, who played Topanga Matthew on the 1990's hit TV show 'Boy Meets World' threw the ceremonial first pitch at the Phillies vs Pirates game on Tuesday night at Citizens Bank Park. The Phillies provided Fishel with a team jersey to wear for the pitch. It featured her name and the number 93 on the back. Her first pitch was caught by the Phillie Phantic.

Cleveland Guardians manager and baseball legend, Terry Francona received a warm standing ovation in likely his last home game as Guardians manager. The Guardians won the game 4-3 and Francona's players made sure he got another curtain call as they celebrated the victory. When Francona retires, it will be the end of the one of the greatest managerial careers of a generation. In 23 seasons with the Guardians, Boston Red Sox and Philadelphia Phillies, Francona has accrued a 1,948-1,670 record as a manager, while ending Boston’s 86-year World Series drought in 2004 and nearly ending Cleveland’s in 2016.

Mets rookie ace, Kodai Senga recorded his 200th strikeout of the 2023 season. It’s the first time a Mets pitcher has struck out that many batters in a season since Jacob deGrom and Noah Syndergaard both did it in 2019, and Senga is just the 13th pitcher to accomplish the feat in a Mets uniform. He also joins Doc Gooden as the only two Mets rookie starting pitchers to reach 200 strikeouts.

I think previous books were $800 for the largest serial number run.
So I'd guess the packs around $1200-1500.

I am assuming the batting glove wasn't used to get the 70th SB, I can't imagine him giving those up for any money unless Topps offered him stupid money, and if they offered him stupid money they will have to sell them for like 20K each

surprising, but as a Met fan I wouldn't pay more than $30 for it, it is nice to see Lindor hitting well now that the games are meaningless
