I am amazed at all the people who dogs on Bedard for 500, the general going rate, but say very little about Wemby, Stroud, Love, you name the player, prices. I am still waiting for someone to show me a base we,by Prizm going for 400-500 or more. I can assure you the base Prizm we,by is SP’d. I have watched multiple $1,000 boxes ripped without one. Let that sink in. Give me 3 Hobby UD2 over that or better yet a case of Megas/tins.

Funny. That is how much you know! A black Reverend talking sportscards and you assumed he was a Sharpton backer. Try again! I have no concern for you big man, but you felt the need to comment on my post. I personally watched you post and you have a vibe that most already know. Directed at Zap! Again! What a tool!

edit: I will say his OPC marquee RC seems to be trending upward, I dont think anyone is breaking this anymore and its a relatively hard card to hit. OPC retail seems to be underproduced, its pretty hard to find. Last edited by anusinha; 03-23-2024 at 04:09 PM. |

What are the thoughts on the YG outburst silver? seems like 1/20th the print run of the base and nice design imo.

They're much better than the Frenches that they replaced, but because of the print run spike across the board they might settle in line with past base YGs of players of that caliber. Which is a shame.

Opened several blasters, megas, couple of tins, and a hobby box and zero Bedards - hit 3 Carlsons. Amazing how I can get two of the same Young Gun in one tin but zero Bedard RC’s. Now I have a bunch of hockey cards to use as a fire starter for my outdoor fire pit - don’t think anyone locally will buy any of the other cards.

I wouldn't be buying loose boxes, unless it's from a retailer like Walmart as it's easily possible people pulled the Bedard and sold the rest, and in hobby yes there could be more than one per case an there are numbered but how likely is that in reality? And people buying cases of blasters etc claiming they found 200 Bedards but I doubt it so same could be happening with retail.

Opened 6 blasters, 12 megas, 3 tins.
2 Bedard YG's. EDIT: just to build on this. That was $740.93 total in retail. Included maybe 7 Bedard Glossy, 1 Portrait, 3 Checklists as well. Sold 1 Bedard YG for $460ish net to recoup funds (probably could have graded this copy). Sent the other to grade. Not counting the Bedard YG sale, sold 72 other random cards like YG's, Canvas, Outbursts, etc for about another $400 total. There were a lot of YG's on the checklist that I got 0 of. I got lucky with 2 YG's. This product could be a very tough break, but even non Bedards have been moving quick, just takes some legwork. Last edited by Bob Ross; 03-25-2024 at 09:45 AM. |

I would like to add a Connor Bedard Rookie Card to my collection that isn't his YG UD Series 2 Card. I am looking for value on this purchase and the best bang for the buck without having to break the bank. I also am looking for scarcity (print runs) and the best possible shot at a Gem Rate of a PSA 10.
I'm considering the following Connor Bedard cards: 1.2023-24 Upper Deck Star Rookies Box Set #1 Connor Bedard Rookie Card RC 2.2023-24 Upper Deck Series 2 Connor Bedard Rookie RC Die-cut 94-95 Retro RDT-19 3.2023-24 O-Pee-Chee Connor Bedard Marquee Rookie Base #582 Which of these three would you recommend? thanks |

12 packs per box / 12 cards per pack = 144 total cards per box 2 autographs 10 inserts 22 Prizms Parallels Take those out and you only get 110 base cards per box. 300 card checklist 69 rookies total You get what, 1-2 rookies per pack? Maybe 3? Anywhere from 12 - 30 rookies per box (30 seems very generous) There are points to be made with cost vs value per box but saying Wemby is short printed because you've watched "multiple $1,000 box breaks" has zero validity to it if that's your reasoning.
