Looking at this list already shows you the disconnect between "over 200 reporters, editors, producers and analysts" and reality.

Oh I know it - haven't even clicked the link because I hate giving ESPN clicks... but I do think Lowe is worthwhile and I know he influences a lot of the others who vote on that, so I don't consider it worthless.

If you look at it more in terms of tiers then it's better. They do strict rankings likely to generate clicks/discussion/outrage.

I think the Timberwolves coaching is not good enough to put it all together. Sorry, pacers will be better. And grizz.

Did it even go to trial? I thought he settled a civil suit out of court.

The ESPN 100-26 list is so so so bad. I mean, they didn't even try.

He did. I don't know why people still say he raped her... I thought it was pretty clear that it was consensual. Still not a good look having an affair though.

They create it for, chaos, clicks and discussions, that's always been the case. There's no way Cade Cunningham should rank higher than guys like Zion, Garland and LaMelo.

I think Cade might end up being the best player of the draft but it's way too early.

Only he and the woman know what happened, but some things just don't add up. She wouldn't testify in court, but had no problem with a civil suit resulting in 2.5 million?

Also, why leave out the rest of his quote? Lol

They got the chaos part right!

Right now, I'd go with Barnes, Cade, Mobley, Giddey, Green as the top five in the class. Can't wait to see what they do this season.

There are lots of reasons why women don't testify or make themselves more public is sexual assult type cases. There are literally thousands of case studies, articles and other content that explain why this is often the case.

I left out the rest of the quote to highlight the part that directly contradicts that is was consensual. But if you'd like the rest. Here you go.

"First, I want to apologize directly to the young woman involved in this incident. I want to apologize to her for my behavior that night and for the consequences she has suffered in the past year. Although this year has been incredibly difficult for me personally, I can only imagine the pain she has had to endure. I also want to apologize to her parents and family members, and to my family and friends and supporters, and to the citizens of Eagle, Colorado.

I also want to make it clear that I do not question the motives of this young woman. No money has been paid to this woman. She has agreed that this statement will not be used against me in the civil case. Although I truly believe this encounter between us was consensual, I recognize now that she did not and does not view this incident the same way I did. After months of reviewing discovery, listening to her attorney, and even her testimony in person, I now understand how she feels that she did not consent to this encounter.

I issue this statement today fully aware that while one part of this case ends today, another remains. I understand that the civil case against me will go forward. That part of this case will be decided by and between the parties directly involved in the incident and will no longer be a financial or emotional drain on the citizens of the state of Colorado." - Kobe Bryant

They never try. It's all to provoke clicks and chatter.

I get that but it feels like the quality of this list has just been getting worse and worse and worse. It used to seem like they tried to get it at least a little right.

Klay Thompson at 37....Yea this list is not good (and I'm saying Klay at 37 is too high, for the record)

Jalen Green love! Nice

I like that list, but I'll probably replace Giddey with Wagner for my Top 5.

Barnes
Cade
Mobley
Wagner
Green
Giddey
Herb
Duarte
Sengun
Kuminga

For a poster who exudes such supreme intelligence you have certainly been suckered in here...

- ESPN is not the quality sport outlet it once was, hasn't been for years. Once the lines were crossed with agendas, politics and whatnot that was it.

- Lists are mostly a fools game. And you are a complete fool if you get your knickers in a knot about somebodies else's list... especially something incredibly broad and wildly open to interpretation like comparing the skills of every single player in the NBA when we have different roles, positions etc. etc. You try and pull out a Top 100 list and I will guarantee it will receive ridicule or nitpicking

Also hilarious the calibre of person who thinks 40K wasn't enough. Ok high roller... Lets see how you'd react to an astronomical fine of this proportion in your youth for recording a 'relatively' innocuous video.
