Spent way too much money today but man it will be a nice payoff once its all said and done.

5 Tommy Bahama shirts with awesome graphics that will bring about 50 to 120 each for 4.00 each. A few vintage Gi Joe Vehicles.

Half a box of 1997-98 Fleer Basketball packs 10 packs of 1996-97 Skybox premium packs and some random early 90s packs for 20.00

Box of 1989 Proset series 2, 1987 Topps Cello Box missing 1 pack a 1986 Topps Vending Box. A 1986 Donruss set with a very nice Canseco and McGriff and a sealed 1990 Score Baseball Factory set for 20.00.

Not to mention a huge amount of 2020 Bowman retail.

You guys having issues when posting on eBay with app on an iPhone where the camera in the eBay app automatically saves all the pictures to your picture album on your phone? I just started having this issue, but disabling camera from eBay app doesn’t allow me to use camera for pics. Any suggestions?

That's ok I'm just thinking of my friends camera. He has some big DSLR thingy (not a phone) that cost a few grand. There are times he has thousands of photos on it. Imagine if ebay tried to load them all. Your listing fee for this auction is 10375 dollars lol.

The good news-44 people signed up so far for my city’s city wide sale on Thursday which will be more because people don’t register and still have it

The bad news-forecast high on Thursday is 97 degrees, Friday and Saturday are 95 degrees. My saling Could be cut short due To the heat which sucks because this is the most profitable of all garage sale season

I realize that they have a legitimate reason, but the delays that the USPS has been having is really frustrating. Shipped something on Friday morning via Priority Mail and as of this morning it had traveled 45 miles.

I ordered something from NY and so far it's gone from NY, to Ohio, to NJ, and it's still enroute to me in PA. I got nothing. They've literally had the package go through my state twice.

Just had to use a refund for an item that was about 7 days past delivery date, maybe more. I can’t complain too much, as I understand, I just wish eBay would consider ethos when someone opens a case that the item is probably just moving slowly. I almost wish the delivery times would just say 5-7 days even for priority mail just to be safe.

You could do what I do (mind you, I just sell stuff on ebay that's cluttering up my shop, I don't do it as professionally as you guys)

set handling time to 3 days, select that cheap USPS "retail parcel" or whatever it's called. Then it'll give a delivery window of 7-14 days. I still send priority, but nobody has ever sent me a message "hey the auction said 10 days and it showed up in 3". I did used to get "hey the auction said monday and it didn't show up till tuesday I want my shipping refunded.

All my listings have a 2 day handling time and are set with economy shipping. This gives maximum time for delivery and creates many situations where the item arrives earlier than expected.

Bingo, that’s how to do it. At least that’s how I do it. There might be good reasons to not do it this way.

Doesn't 2 days disqualify the top rated seller and 10% fee reduction? Probably doesn't make that much of a difference, for me it was like $120 last year. I wonder if buyers seeing that Top Rated Seller has any effect on purchases. I've also been very lucky and USPS has been very good for me. Two things I have found odd recently, I have had 3 times in the last month where buyers have claimed the item was not delivered but showed delivered. Also 2 out of 5 global shipping items have never showed delivered.

To the average joe, I bet the top rated seller status carries some weight. I’ve been on eBay for a decade and a half and I don’t even look for/see top rated badges when I’m buying. I’ve actually probably had more little issues with TRS than normies.

But yes, 2 days handling disqualifies you from TRS

the TRS is nothing but a cookie to chase. My sales increased when I stopped chasing it. There is actuall a segment of buyers on the Ebay boards and on Facebook that refer to TRS sellers as TRaSh sellers and refuse to buy anything from them. That is a carryover from when only giant sellers could be TRS though now its so easy. I don't think anyone really cares.

This. Back in the day it meant something. Now it doesn’t.....when I see someone with 500 feedback and an account a year old that has TRS its like gtfo

Yeah I guess it was the TRS Plus I was talking about where you save the 10% off fees. I figured, when I buy on eBay I never specifically look if the seller is a TRS or not so I imagine most people don't. For me personally it's just a little extra savings because I just pull my items every night at 10 and print the 3-4 labels, and it actually gets me looking at my items and fixing titles, prices and such.

I watched Bruce Almighty on Monday on accident. Ace Ventura yesterday by choice. So might as well make it a Jim Carrey week:

Another thing about TRS - Doesn’t eBay push TRS listings ahead of non-TRS? I believe I am top rated but it’s not something that I chase. But that could be an advantage of getting the rating.

Nope there I have seen real proof of that. Have seen many on other sites say its not true. I promote every item I list to so I cannot say first hand as my listings often appear high up when I search them through the search.
