No problem. They made so many turtles figures if you see a lot cheap it’s worth a shot. There are some rare ones in the line that go for hundreds loose and thousands carded. But a ton of it loose and incomplete selling it for 2 dollars is tough. That’s the gamble.

I hear you there. I drive by a Goodwill on the way to the post office every morning and there was always a line, and I mean, a line of donations piled up outside from when it was closed. Enough to make you mad and almost mad enough to make you want to search through it, (don't worry, I didn't). I had thoughts like it was going to be Christmas morning when they opened back up because me and my dumb thinking that Goodwill would keep people employed to run racks and freshen things up before re-opening.

Nope.....same old crap from the time before. Half off sale tomorrow so I'll hit up my normal 5 and see what I can find.

And Dax with the TMNT knowledge! That's awesome. Love that! Even though it wasn't my item, I appreciate the knowledge.

They got rid of all sales including color of the week here, when I asked why, they said "its to keep traffic down"

Same with thrift stores here. Found a few things but I thought there would be a ton more. I hope people are saving stuff for garage sales! Unfortunately my favorite garage sale of the year was canceled but I do have a city wide one on June 4

No problem. I've been around toy collectors forever. First job was in a comicbook shop dealing with the toy collecting area. Second job, Target toy department employee so I met everyone who collected cause I'd see the same guys every day. The hot wheels door warmers, you name it. You absorb a TON of knowledge that way. I had those era TMNT toys when I was a kid. They haven't seen the insane explosion in value that GI Joe and Transformers from the 80's have. BUT they do have a collector base and some very expensive pieces if you luck out.

First half off day at Goodwill today since this whole Covid thing started. Went to five stores and even though I checked out the merchandise, I saw nothing that would have given me enough profit to wait in lines that long. Crazy how long the lines were, I should have known better.

Covid was surely getting passed around like my college ex girlfriend. Say whhaaaattt?! Only kidding. But the lines were long.

Does anyone have a good bubble mailer guy? $150 for 1000 #0 kraft bubbles on eBay seems high?

Had a good weekend in sales. Heading to the P.O. today with 9 packages.

There's a listing that just came out for an estate sale this week. Mixed in among the stuff are two iconic sports cards. It would be a giant pickup if they are real. Everything else listed seems to be pretty high dollar which is a good sign. Even if they are not or someone beats me to it, there's some really nice stuff there. Probably the best estate sale I've ever seen.

Just picked up slightly used Gloomhaven game offered for free on Craigslist. Picking up on Friday. Sucks I have to drive 40 min. But I’ll try to find a garage sale or two and thrift store within that.

Had never heard of gloomhaven. That wins the award for "most complicated board game I've seen". Pretty cool.

Games like that look so intriguing to me. I love looking through the board games at Barnes and nobles, but have no interest taking the time to learn them.

According to the write-up I found about it, to complete the game takes approximately 150 hours and is broken up into individual dungeons since obviously no one stays up 150 straight to play. By comparison, I'm fairly certain I can build a motorcycle in about 150 hours. I'm not super mechanic that's just a long game.

Found a new with tags Peter Millar Tweed Sport Coat at goodwill today. Price tag says $899.99. Who just donates this?

MAny clothes that are left from estate sales end up at Goodwill sometimes these richer families will have a relative pass in a town 500 miles away instead of having a sale or anything they just have a company like Goodwill or Salvation Army come in and take it without even looking at it.

Went to the local game store and picked up multiple copies of PGA Tiger Woods 2014 Historic Edition. Games are selling hot right now. They didn't have them market up yet.
