Base Optic and Optic Holo PSA 10s for me.

Just sitting back and watching this rise. I do want the 2017 PSA 9 Prizm but other shiny objects steal my attention. lol

I hear you on the PSA 9 Prizm. The imperfection on 2 or the 3 would have gemmed had they been sent originally. I could not see them, but it all good. The PSA 9’s will be 3K cards in the future if Patty keeps doing what he is doing.

I think this is what happens, and prices start to get pretty flat for awhile until Mahomes does more. If things continue, all of a sudden Optic's will be $3k cards, Prizm will be $10k, and I just can't see that happening without a LOT more tread on him.

This was the big reasoning behind buying the 9.5 Mahomes NT RPA.

I sold off about 100 smaller cards to get there. Mostly cards I can replace if I ever want to. I think the biggest ones for this to happen are the Optic cards. There's probably loads of base at PSA right now awaiting grades. Almost 2,000 graded PSA 10. I think now we will see more people try to unload the Optic's, many, and I mean many, people are in these for maybe $200-$300. More come to market, eventually the price will go back down. I'm not saying a drastic drop, more like what happened with Acuna Topps Update cards. They jumped to $300, before falling back to about $200.

I think the rise will continue in prices, however I think at some point the price surges will flatten. Hard to think cards will rise in price a $700 every couple of months.

I was looking at Origins before, don't see a lot of them and it was $1,000-$2,000 card when I was looking. It's an on card autograph, and probably the cheapest out there for on card purposes. If you want stickers, there's plenty of other options though.

A Prizm PSA 9 is $1400-1500 but a PSA 10 is $6000

A Select Field Level PSA 9 is $3700 but a PSA 10 is $7000-8000?

A Select Premier Silver PSA 9 is $1300 but a PSA 10 is $2700-3000ish?

XRC PSA 9 is $3400 but a PSA 10 is $7600

Ive looked at these closely and outside of maybe centering on one of the xrc's these look perfect to me... No surface issues or anything. Have maybe 900 total in them.

I got one of those silver field levels for 25 dollars... Long time ago.. but still.. crazy... Also had a prizm 10 i bought for 60.... Sold at 1500... Had the dimple tho.. i should send all these in

I am jealous...I bought my 10 in 2018 after the season started. My brother is a die hard Chiefs fan and I wasn’t into buying football or Bball back then. My focus was only baseball. I wish I would have listened to him in 2017/18 haha...

Thanks.... Haven't bought any rookie stuff of his in a while cuz prices have gotten crazy. My main problem is i get very attached to my cards and don't like to sell them. Especially Mahomes..as a season ticket holder he is the reason i got back into collecting. Crazy

My PSA 10 offers have been around $800-$900 which isn't bad considering I think the last one sold for $600.

I think a lot of people are waiting to see where the PWCC auction ends. At $710 with 7 days to go.

Oh yeah. But not everyone knows or even cares about that. I'm not saying the auction will even be legit. I just can't count the number of times I've had a card listed for a while and a PWCC auction ends way over what my card is at and then my card is immediately purchased, probably by the second highest bidder.
