We have people of all sorts in this thread, buying Mahomes cards of all prices.

Living in KC, it feels surreal to have THE QB that every team in the NFL would die to have.

Looks like our very own Sparty just sold an Optic Holo PSA 10 for $4,000 on ebay. I almost feel stupid for investing in numbered parallels of prizm and optic instead of just the holos and silvers. I don't really feel stupid because in the long run rarity will win out, but man. This Mahomes market just keeps me guessing!

Prices don't even feel real anymore. I paid $375 for mine last fall. At the time it was a record high. Now we are > 10x that?

At this rate, I could sell a Prizm base psa 10, buy a camo psa 9, and have money left over ��#@♂️

The rookies is a holo and it’s chiefs colors. High appeal.

How about orange optic doing 4100 but holos 4K...doesn’t seem right

WAY before that.. like forever before that.. I bought them in the Spring last year for about $125 ea. Didn't want to pay the huge $200 for a Prizm 10 cause they were more common and had dimples. Felt like I was late to the party paying so much for Patty when every other rookie was $5 raw for holos.

Can always shoot yourself in the foot looking back, but 200% is 200%, hopefully you reinvested it and made some more. For every 200% you take and lose on (while still winning) there is 5 others that tanked a few months later when you choose not to sell. I feel risky holding the Mahomes I have when I already have such great margins, but it's hard to see the sky falling anytime soon.

Kind of. Sold my last holo 10 about six weeks ago for $1,875. That buyer, like most, never left feedback so I was holding the funds for the return. Turns out, it ain't coming back. Man... I sold all my PSA 10's months ago (January I think)prizm, optic, xrc, select... Made great money... And since I used the money to just reinvest in Mahomes really its a wash. Cuz the cards I bought are just that much more expensive now. Bought some psa 9 prizms without the dimple and sold a PSA 10 Optic and bought a PSA 9 Optic holo. I just think the holo is a better card and I'm pretty meh on grading. You have to pay attention to it some tho cuz u can stack coin if that holder says 10

I have a raw Optic Holo that is crispy crackity clean and centered...pulled it myself

This is the main reason for grading and specifically PSA. MAHOMES WORKED to my advantage of being a holder and not a flipper. I did sell my green PSA 10 to fund my Luka experiment, so I am happy because I was buying Chronicles blue and I have now an elite PSA 10 blue and a BGS 9.5 Crusade blue, so money well spent. Fingers crossed on my Titanium Luka /77 and my Chronicles Blue which are at PSA currently. Green Mahomes has been money and I have 3 PSA 9 Mahomes Prizm to hold....

I’ve only been able to find 8 sales of this card since 2017 can any of you guys point me in the right direction. I bought 2 of them. But they never come up. A guy reached out to me in one of the rooms a year or so ago and I bought the first one then one more on eBay. I look pretty often but can’t find much on it. I read an article that says /25 or less.
