Yes, the L/R on the back may differ from the PSA 10, but PSA doesn't put as much emphasis on the back centering (70/30 allowed for a 10) and would still be 9 centering, at worst.
Dude I am looking at the front of the card. The one dude wants to return is very off center on front.

Seller did everything fine, but sometimes we have customers like this.

PSA allows 60/40 on the front for a 10. Again, 9 centering at worst here.

Yousaid it was comparable to the PSA10 and looks fine. Now you are moving the goal posts saying it would qualify as a 9. Wow dude.

I used a PSA 10 as an example for comparison and said it wasn't far off from a 10. Apparently you don't read good either.

Maybe I don't read well. That doesn't change the fact that the card you used as an example of good centering looked nothing like the one that was sold.

Here's a new one for me;

I win an early morning auction. By the time I get up, the order is cancelled. No message, nothing. Just a cancelled order. That part, sadly, is not new. I leave the neg, which is automatic in this situation.

The part that is new is I get a message from the seller asking "What's up? I gave you ample time to pay.". I don't know exactly what time they cancelled because I was still asleep!, but that ample time was 8 hours or less.

I'm also going to have to report them to eBay for this remark, "Let me find out about you and your fingers won’t be texting stuff like that.".

What really happened is the seller did not like the price and cancelled...something they've done in the past according to other feedback.

Those are usually easily removed. Have had probably a dozen like it removed within minutes by the automated system. Someone else here had one removed the other day. Nam I believe

You are correct. It was removed. Not that it was a sure thing, ebay seems to be all over the place these days.

Speaking of removing eBay have a question for ESE sellers.

Buyer buys a batch of cards - I ship via ESE.
They get lost, buyer files INR case.
While waiting the three days for INR to be resolved they leave negative feedback on all items.
If I refund now (which I was going to after the windor)

Can I get those negatives removed?

Those where it's a positive comment on a neg are usually not an issue.

That is a crapshoot. They used to remove them for ese automatically.

What does tracking say?

Also no need or reason to wait on ese irbs just refund and file a PIP claim

eBay did remove them all, which is nice. And you're right - need to just refund right away. Lesson learned

Received another humdinger this morning

Message received about a printing plate 1/1 that I have on eBay, asking me if the printing plate would grade a Gem PSA 10 and could I provide additional and magnified pictures of the

edges
corners
surface

wtf

Just wow.
This garbage always gets me.
Why bother grading a 1/1 plate anyways?
It's a plate- it's been used for an entire print run. It WILL have wear.
And it's the only one. A 5 is as good as a 10.
Figure it out.

The world of grading is bizarre. Artificial scarcity, often times temporary scarcity, in a PSA 10 slab outweighs real scarcity. People would rather own a PSA 10 base rookie over a PSA 8 refractor numbered /199. I hope this nonsense continues because I know which card I am buying.

Sold an antique stein / mug for $24.00 w/ free shipping.

Buyer receives it and sends a message saying there is a dark spot on the inside bottom of the stein / mug that was not mentioned and how can we reconcile that.

They included a photo and the "spot" is no bigger than 1/16 of an inch and appears to be just part of how the piece was made and takes away nothing from it's display quality.

I have a 30-day return policy, so told them to return it. But, You have to wonder what some of these buyers are smoking and how they operate in daily life if a 1/16" insignificant dark spot on the inside of an item affects them.

He was fishing for a partial refund.

I got a weird feedback today and it didn't seem to be for what i sold.

"Looks like shaft has been removed from driver than reinstalled, expoy on ferrule, but works, just very poor workmanship"

I messaged them asking if they left the feedback for the wrong seller and they replied with this.

"Looks lke ebay got this screwed up I didn't leave any feedback for this item"

I checked recent feedback left and right after I got feedback they left someone else this.

"Very poor looking driver looks like shaft has been removed than re installed expoy on ferrule looks bad but I hit the driver seems to bee ok"

but he didn't leave me feedback ebay did it.

Because we currently live in a hobby world where everything needs to be graded in order to have value.

Default To state the obvious

Recent ebay exchange:

Random ebayer: Hi what's your best price?

Me: I have auto accept turned on this if you make an offer.

Random ebayer: At what amount?

Me: Sorry my friend, this item has 3 watchers already; one of them may pay full price.

Sold it a few hours later to a different buyer.

This isn’t a message but I’ve had 3 cards delivered this week with scotch tape on the top loader instead of blue tape. I’ve had to throw all of them away. All 3 of them were packaged well, shipped fast, and the card was exactly as described but they used freakin scotch tape. I’m sure it’s not even worth messaging them about it but damn gimme a break

Sounds like a you problem. Cards are easy to remove from top loaders with scotch tape. No need to throw them away. If they get damaged in the process then you file a claim
