Wasn’t very limited up here (Canada). Seems like they were putting out 100s of those blister packs every week. And I saw Megas on the shelf as late as last week. I opened far too much of it because of how readily available it was in store.

Yeah but now its all gone.

Way easier to get # cards in Illusions than other sets.
Canada got a lot of it at once compared to other products.

I just opened my last mega and finally hit all the vet base cards in the set, but I’m still missing 4 rookies. Anybody want to sell or trade the below? I have doubles of some other rookies for trade, plus parallels and inserts if anyone is completing those sets:

158 - Terence Davis
171 - RJ Barrett
179 - Ty Jerome
193 - Cam Reddish

These cards are probably worth like $5-$6 total so it would be great if someone had all 4 and wanted to do a cheap deal!

Found a 20 pack retail box on Ebay for a relatively decent price so I bought it. Anyone on here have experience opening these? How did they turn out for you?

People are gonna be booting themselves in the ass for not buying these up at ~$35-40 a pop per blaster. MSRP was a no brainer.

Yeah, I"m not sure why this fell out of the general hobby radar. It's a smaller set so for set collectors it's not that hard to put together. The parallels are nice. The inserts are kind of cool. I have to think once the season gets started and if the 2020 draft class is kind of a dud, Illusions might catch people's eye as an affordable alternative with some desirable rookies.

I didn't open too much Illusions, but the few base cards I sent in did pretty well.

Starting to see more graded Illusions showing up on eBay. I am not a grading expert by any means, but what struck me is some of the samples that graded PSA 10 still showed obvious imperfections on the backside, either in the corner or in the edge. Is PSA grading this stuff less strictly or is that just part of the natural variation you get with graded cards?

I guess that's good to hear - I have a Zion Starfall that I was going to purposely not grade because the back top edge is not perfect when looking very closely at it, but maybe it does stand a chance at something.

PSA10 is not a perfect card.

Back is less important so "one" point against the card probably still keeps it a 10.

You can still find something wrong with every 10 if you look closely.
