Cardboard Connection lists 78 SPs. I don't know if that's accurate or complete.

Odds to hit any *one* specific SP if there are 78 different ones: 1 in 156 boxes (13 cases)

edit: ~$400 to buy the SP
~$600 range for the '87 insert auto.

No reason to rip a case at ~$1,000 when the two cards can be bought for the same price, and may fall every dozen cases. Box prices should continue to fall, but I don't know that they will.

Not sure why they are calling it a variation beside SP's are usually a photo variation.

Thanks for the breakdown. I love ripping all products except flagship topps. I just find it so boring to open.

Get her a different card to try and do that with. That’s not a good card for a sig. Too much blue in it, and you’ll want to use a blue marker for it.

Card definitely needs some prep for a nice auto. Do you use powder or an eraser? I just sent a '91 Topps Tiffany card off for a signing and prepped the surface with an eraser, same as a chrome card. Would hate to see streaks like those!
