just kidding. Good luck to all who where fortunate enough to nab a box... Especially those that break. For 750 you have a legitimate shot at 20k + cards. The Luka /3s... Luka Logoman?!

This is the classic game show conundrum, you have a chance at $20k, but a guarantee of a $2000+...the game show producers want you to chase the $20k.

To each their own, but no matter what...don't look back.

Yes... The card market on high end is a lot stronger than last year IMO. In addition, the number of buyers on the Doncic vs. Tatum is 3-5x more with his overseas exposure.

Did blowout up their offer at all in previous releases? I'm wondering if I should maybe consider waiting a few months in case they up their offer from 2200 or if prices go even higher on eBay. What do you guys think?

Luka's international appeal and hype are what's really driving it. Even before the NBA a ton of us in the states knew the name.

Everyone thinks Zion is going to blow Luka hype outta the water.. I'm in the minority I guess but I don't think so, mainly bc of the international appeal. But then again maybe Zion will bring more USA fans into basketball collecting. Either way, Luka is just a very special case and I thank him because with all the attention his cards have gotten this year, it's allowed me to add some pretty rare Mitchell rc's to my PC for prices that likely wouldn't exist had it not been for Luka!

I expect Zion hype to fall just shy of Lebron hype. ESPN has pumped him for the last couple of years. He played for one of the most followed college teams in the nation and every household knows his name. Next year is going to be insane as long as he doesn't pull a Ben Simmons and misses his first year.

That's fine by me. I dig Zion but I'm not going to be a buyer. Started out the season picking up Luka for reasonable prices and tapped out when prizm base literally tripled overnight! I knew that was my exit time. Sounds like I won't even be entering the building for Zion.

He can only play the 4, doesn't shoot like stretch 4, and while he can jump outta the gym isn't particularly switchable against many NBA guards. And he's short for a PF so unless he gobbles ORebs like Barkley, he's never gonna come close to measuring up to the talents of a Lebron, Duncan, Iverson [or Simmons].

By the time NT comes out his season is likely long over next year. We'll know if he's got a shot at being a generational player, or someone who just dunks hard. Will he develop into a true scorer like Nique?

Not a lot of Luke Maye's guarding him in the NBA. Giannis and Embiid and Gobert protect the rim a LOT better than Tacko Fall.
