What's with the stupid movies titles...The Meg, The Nun, what's next...
The Fog? The Thing?
Wait, nevermind.

Watched it last night and was shocked how much I enjoyed it. I expected a stupid movie but to be kind of fun. It was actually pretty funny, had a surprisingly solid story, well acted and lots of fun scenes.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Annihilation...

Also just watched Marrowbone. I didn't love it but didn't hate it either. I thought it was a decent movie.

Been rewatching the Halloween films to prepare for the new one. Holy smokes is Halloween 5 bad. Not that the sequels are great (some are decent and watchable). Part 5 is horrific.

Couldn't you skip all of them save for the original?

I thought the new Halloween was essentially whitewashing all sequels and branch offs away.

Just fun to relive some of these even though they're no longer cannon. I enjoy 2, 4, 6, and 7. 5 and 8 are bad and I'm not a big fan of Rob Zombie's white trash take on the tale.

I can dig it. I kind of figured you were just taking a trip down memory lane. Cant blame ya for that.

Went to the theater for meg on Friday. Probably the worst movie I’ve seen at the theater, and I didn’t pay a dime. That’s how bad it was. Watched annihilation this morning and enjoyed it overall.
