Was just about to say the same thing, always one better too late. He should’ve pulled him after Baty’s long at bat and single. Definitely after he got Pham out. But 6-6 is a lot better than losing 5-1.

Do other pitchers around the league have as much trouble putting batters away as the Yankees pitchers do. Yes most of the time they get the out but no telling how many extra pitches it costs them.

Stanton could’ve had the walk but no swing at ball 4 on a 3-0 count and then fly out weakly to right. You can see who the team players are and he isn’t one of them.

See what I mean by not putting batters away had McNeil 1-2 gives up a hit had Lindor 2-2 walks him. Now we have to hope Cordero can get Marte.
