What is everyone's move? If Gary V announced Friday, there may be a spike in these like we may never see again in the duration of the Project. They will peak and slowly but surely come back to earth (somewhat)

If you're not selling yet, this could be a tough time. There are cards available every day, and now the artists are justifiably taking their new celeb status and selling as much as they possibly can to make money. Most people don't have the funds to buy EVERYTHING that this project is putting out.

Not a bad word to say about Blake, but if he sold 500 fanny packs, conservatively -- that's $100,000. Fanny packs cost maybe $.50 ea, and his cards are all commons. So his cost is the time to design the fanny packs and the time to splatter the art and 500 1 touches... and 15 Project 2020 cards.

Fair statement that he made $98k tonight, although he'll have to do the work to design the fanny packs.

Again, I don't begrudge him a damn thing. His art, outside of these cards, is not my style.

My point being that with these side hustles, along with signed cards, and everything else... there's a LOT to buy out there. It is possible that all of these things may keep future print runs down... until, I guess, Friday.

I've never seen anything like this in the 30 years I've been collecting and I'm glad to be part of it. I'm just dumbfounded when I look at my spreadsheet. I wanted to update it only once a week and just did it 2 days ago seeing a 299% gain. I did it just now for kicks, it's now at 1,127%!???..........I had to make sure I was calculating it correctly.

Read the update from Blake and thought to myself "maybe I'll buy a few more of the cheap cards before they take off in price." Hopped on eBay, looked up Cartoon Gooden and quickly realized there are no cheap cards anymore.

Over 600 Nolan Ryan Vides already sold on ebay. Both Griffey and Ryan will each have over 1000 sold on ebay when the timer goes out. No other card has hit 1000 on ebay before time runs out.

Buy from Topps, and years from now complete the set.

That's what everyone said about the psa 10 bull run over the past 2+ months.

Still waiting.

Griffey by Keith Shore, ask Mossaholic for the exact print run. He’s betting the house on it.

He literally showed off a numbered Alonso painted together with a SP Acuna, Eloy and Keston rookies and other big name cards on the stream. So that's not entirely accurate.

That's why you buy them direct from Topps....You can get a complete run of this weeks 10 cards for around 200...Or if you buy bundles you can squeeze in a few more

The last Gary Vee pump I can recall (2018 Acuna Update PSA 10) flew from $100 to $300. The following week COVID hit hard, baseball season was pushed back, and Gary Vee stopped posting about investing and cards all together. The Acunas then dipped down to maybe $180 or so. My numbers are estimated but fairly close if I remember correctly. The cards were pumped and dumped over a several week period. Gary may be holding all his Acuna's but who really knows.

In this case, COVID is almost over, baseball should be starting up soon, it appeals to artists, and a much bigger martket. This pump may last much longer

If I could bet the house I'd be guaranteed to get back a few hundred grand of the around 600-700k I've missed out on from the project.

I bought one yesterday from a seller who had it in hand and it’s been shipped.

I debated buying a fanny pack, but listening to you guys went ahead. Can't see it not being worth a lot more down the road when it comes out.

I can definitely afford it, just the waiting part is going to kill me I think not knowing when these will release.

I bought my first purchases from Topps today, and also bought 2 Baller Trout's on ebay for what is now a great price. I got shipment confirmation, so I hope they are going out.

I think anything Trout, Griffey, Jeter will be worth money in this. I am debating getting Taylor Jeter's since those seem highly affordable.

The PRs aren't going down... He waited long enough so topps could stock up on magnetic holders.

He also said that he does not want to saturate the market by just continuing to release autographed Mcgwire cards for instance and would likely only release and autograph the few he has left. He is aware of market saturation and said he wants to avoid it.

...which have been "ruined" to the baseball card community by painting, and transformed to something else. My point was that he wasn't taking 2018 Bat Down Acunas or anything insane. The cards you mentioned above are a few dollars each at max. And you completely missed my point... but welcome to the thread.

I didn't buy the fanny pack. The golden goose was right at my finger tips and I chickened out.
