Again. No problems with the card at all. Just weird the pictures all look like different cards. It's not about the amount of the pictures, take 2 or 12. I don't care. Take them all from the same scanner or camera though. Apparently it's just my OCD. It wouldn't stop me from bidding. Just odd. Like let's say people who take pictures of cards on their bed with no sheets. Do they sleep with no sheets or did they remove the sheets for the picture?

I found this Trout vs. Mantle comparison pretty amazing. I un-checked their first season (both age 19) because Trout only played 40 games compared to Mantle's 96 games. Then I selected their first 8 full seasons played (2012-2019 for Trout -- 1952-1959 for Mantle). The similarity in stats in almost EVERY category is mind-blowing. In fact, some stats were SOOOOO close that it almost defies logic (base hits, for example -- 1,297 for Trout / 1,301 for Mantle... only four base hit difference over 8 full seasons!!! And BA of .308 for Trout vs. Mantle's .314. Or OPS of 1.009 for Trout vs. Mantle's 1.010... how crazy is that?!). When comparing these two in a more apples-to-apples method, I began to appreciate just how incredible Trout is compared to other all-time legends.
As a side note, for some reason it didn't work very well in Windows Explorer, but in Chrome it works great. https://mlbcomparisons.com/mike-trou...le-comparison/ |

Great stats... big glaring one: Mantle was a part of 5 WS champs in his first 8 seasons. If only Trout could get on 1... (Mantle also won the Triple Crown) Trout is by far the closest thing to Mantle we’ve seen Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Mantle didn't win those by himself.... I don't think Trout has had nearly the team around him that Mantle had.

I whole heartedly agree. But we all know that the second Trout wins (or is apart of a WS winning team) his stuff will rise higher, especially if he contributes. I think Jeter benefits from that as well. If Jeter had all of his stats yet 0 WS wins I don’t believe his stuff sells as high. I was just stating the stats. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

To that point Jeter also benefited from being on a high profile east coast team. If Trout were on the Yankees, or Red Sox, even without championships, his stuff would also sell higher.
And this is coming from an Angels fan. East coast bias is definitely a thing. |

He’s playing. He loves the game. Leader by example.

I agree. I was just saying that without the championships Jeter wouldn’t have the following even with the East coast thing. The comment about Mantle not winning the WS he was on (even though he hit 18 HR) was my point. Championships won help a players card values and especially in high level markets. If Trout were to ever be on one I think it would cause a rise even further, particularly if he had a strong playoff showing. It’s dumb to say one player doesn’t win a WS... of course he doesn’t, it’s a team game. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

You guys can't really believe the unanimous best player on Earth is going to sit out. MLB would NEVER let that happen. It isn't even his choice in the grand scheme of things.

If Trout wants to sit believe me he will sit. There is nothing MLB can do about it. They can’t force a player to play against his will if he fees it’s a health concern. If my wife were pregnant and it put any kind of risk on her, I’d sit. It’s not worth it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I could see Trout taking a few days off for his kid's birth but I can't see him opting out. Especially after the "Tell us when and where" tweet.
