In other words, Tom Brady has also been traded to the Cardinals.

this is nuts...

if other teams (especially decent like the colts) knew abt this almost every team would offer a first rounder...

It was a good run for the Browns. 2 games and it's time to re-build.

Send us Joe Thomas as well for another first rounder. We need someone to block for Trent as well! Helluva day to be a Colts fan.

Wow...

When they drafted him no one really thought it was a great idea to invest such a high pick in a running back. Jim Brown famously said he was nothing special (3.6 YPC), but the o-line and passing attack hasn't been helping that average.

Interesting move by the new regime - so much turnover.

Jacksonville Vs. Browns match up will decide which team goes 0-16 for the second time in NFL history.

Trent #@#@#@#@ing Richardson.

Things will be MUCH easier on him in Indy, and I fully expect him to excel there.

Luck, Richardson and Hilton can turn into something serious down the road.

Don't do it buddy! You still have a shot at Johnny "I didn't take the cash lolol" Manziel. He may save your Browns!

I'm still unsure.

Colts are obviously still a 'pass first' team with Luck, and most especially since they usually have to put up a lot on the board since their defense is still young and gives up a lot of points.

I see him maybe averaging 18-20 carries a game, but I don't really see his production going up much from Cleveland. The big thing for Trent is how well he'll be able to block and also catch from out the backfield, as he'll be targeted a lot more on those rb options with Luck at the helm.

Add that to the list of Colts you can pull in 2012.

Not with the WR Corps in Cleveland, he'd be working around inferior players there.

Richardson strikes me as a "Complete Back", has size, good speed (not great speed), good hands, some wiggle and a nasty streak. I think this is a brilliant trade for the Colts (3 years of contractual control + the option year) and more ammo for Cleveland.

not really, I think they're going to be switching off duties and being fresh throughout the game. Richardson has been hampered some with nagging injuries so still think Ahmad will be producing even with Richardson playing

My guess is they offered Damnit Donald Brown with the #1 and the Browns responded, eh, we'll just take the #1.

Richardson and Bradshaw. I likey. I will forget about the o line issues for 1 week.

I would be wondering why the Borwns gave up on him at this point. It's not like Richardson has been particularly electric and the Colts o-line isn't exactly awesome. I don't mean to rain on the parade as I think it's a good pickup, but I'm not sure it makes the Colts a contender.

I am STUNNED.

Never thought we'd see anything again in my lifetime here in Indy that approached Peyton-Marvin-Edge. Luck-Wayne-Richardson is pretty damn nice ... too bad those three can't stop the run, too!
