I just checked Topps. The only items left are Mega boxes and Mega cases.

I loved this years Sapphire. I don't think I ever said it was going to $1k though. Although it probably will. I almost never give price predictions for that exact reason.

I don't think anyone here is upset other than you getting defensive about a bad prediction. I don't care what they sell for, I stopped prospecting a long time ago for the most part. But I know the market well enough to know you are wrong. And a quick look at Draft 1st Autographs should tell you the same thing without other people having to tell you.

What autographs do you actually think are going to push $100? Willits of course. Josuar Gonzalez is a more enticing prospect than any high school bat aside from Willits. Hes $50? Do you think Parker is going to command big bucks?

Jaypers said it best, so I will just quote him for you. Do you own homework. Most people keep prospect names to themselves. If they are openly telling you, its because they have either bought all they are going to buy or they want to pump them up. Or both.

Lol give me a break. This isn't 2003. No one on this board has any information beyond what they regurgitated from BA or Fangraphs. Maybe some amateur scouts that tried to break down YouTube video. You're kidding yourself if you think you have access to any addditional information than others in the market.

Kilby, Hammond, Parker, Gamble will be interesting names. Quentin Young if you love high risk/sub-zero floors.

There are powers out there that can and will make it happen to see autos go for more than they ever should be. That is how we are in this price point we are now.

I've got 23 batters and 3 pitchers that have a Price Index number of $100 or more. Using Fangraphs FV, the only position player that would be that high is Holliday (55). On the pitching side, maybe Doyle? Although his "type" are more in the $80 range.

That said, players in Draft have been going for damn near double what similar prospects from Bowman and Chrome go for. That's not even accounting for release week pricing. My guess is I completely ignore draft until next offseason...again. Even then, I've hardly got any 2024 Draft guys on my list because of the residual overprice effect.

2024 draft still going big on Bonemer. Got in at start when was "cheap" and still occsionally buy lower end chrome non autos from time to time but slowly getting more and more expensive. I am a bit upset at my bad bidding style as missed out on 2 true blue chrome refractor 1sts last night but did get a green. Really wanted the blues as I kind of have a goal to get as many as possible. Forget how many I am at now but it's near or more than 10. Also have I think 6 gold chromes.

Anyway this year not sure but I'm sure the WHite Sox will be dumb expensive just because of Carlson and then the other ss they have in the product on top of whoever else.

They held Holliday back for 2026 Bowman. Willits will certainly break $100 but he's a high floor/low ceiling type of first rounder.
