First Case:
-Cody Rhodes /5 Red Parallel Auto Redemption
-Rock Double Vision Case Hit

Second Case:
-Triple H Masters /5 Red Parallel Auto
-Kane Case hit <-- I kinda want this one lol

Of course there's more but that's the major things lol.

Both cases has Lex Luger. 2 boxes in a row had Dirty Dom autograph.


Does anyone else dislike the horizontal auto cards?

Does anyone else dislike the horizontal auto cards?

I like how horizontal autograph cards look as if its a cool photo sometimes those fit better landscape. Or if the wrestler has an autograph that is more wide than tall it can look better on a horizontal card. The issue is I display my cards and horizontal cards mess up the shelf layout so I usually only buy vertical unless its an incredible card.

I agree on the Finest Moments horizontal. Some of the cards are hard to actually read. I am miffed they don't tell you what the moment is (like in MLB or the old NFL back in the early 00s). I do think the inserts are solid, the base color can be really cool.

Do we think these are a good value at retail prices? As much as anything is a "good value," I guess. So, maybe I should say, "not terrible value."

If you’re just looking to flip down the line might not be the best as Finest traditionally wasn’t insanely popular, Topps just had a lot of other WWE sets at the time where as now everyone acts like the current product is the last one that will ever release lol

If you’re asking about value opening I never really understand that as you could pull a Rock auto or a Miz auto that’s a pretty big variation on value. Boxes aren’t consistent either so just because you watched a rough case doesn’t mean the next one won’t be crazy

All fair. I know very little about the WWE market, so this is helpful. I'm still sitting on my box of 2022 Prizm. Almost bought a second at the time to rip. Glad I didn't make that mistake!

That’s actually a good hold (Prizm). Big cards have been pulled but it’s the first Panini set, there’s still big hits and Golds yet to be pulled which go for a lot and now that Bron Breakker has finally “broken out” lol it has his RC

Finest never was intended as some high-end set people correlate today’s prices with products must be better but im seeing no worse than old WWE Finest watching breaks. People get FOMO here terribly but if you’re not a huge fan I’d wait it out wait for a few regular products to release (not Cactus Jack/Sapphire) see what drops/is popular etc and pick up some boxes then. For example tennis went to Topps the released Topps Chrome and prices were propped up being the only set out then they dropped a bunch in succession now it’s basically dirt cheap. You have to allow multiple products to release before gauging ones true value imo and sometimes you can get deals waiting if you do want to rip and it’s the same odds as if the box were full price so lol

I'm confused by this because it's a risk , right ?

Buying at retail price to try and beat the resale price , but not knowing if the resale price will drop below retail price.

I see Cactus Jack boxes on ebay for $280,$310 when it retailed $400 and $450..

I would like to think that Finest would stay at Retail or Above for the resale price, no?

Old ones didn’t but again this is a whole new world and has Rock etc so I doubt they go on sale much. It’s also hard to tell when there’s no concrete release schedule or anything, if nothing comes out for half a year it’ll maintain if for example Heritage and a Stadium Club also drop it may fall abit, when Panini was getting out of WWE they dropped a ton of products in succession and even ok sets (I didn’t mind Three Count or whatever) dropped, no clue where current prices stand on those. If you’re a pretty big wrestling fan I’d say grab this if you’re not or a casual you could wait it out and maybe as I said a Heritage comes out which is more affordable and you try that, or Undisputed drops and is only $100-150 more than this (in my dreams lol) and you decide to buy and hold or rip that instead. It def is a risk and it’s not completely about hoping it drops in price that would just be a nice bonus but there being an opportunity for more choice across the board not just everyone focused on the current set due to the time between releases since Topps return. I will say and this DOES NOT go back on previous statements as demand will still be there for retail price but I don’t think you risk outside the short term these boxes going up so much there no longer attainable when you don’t have Steph, Giulia or Logan RC. Especially as other sets release there’s not much to differentiate this to make it any more valuable. Up to when Panini made wrestling popular on a larger level again you could still find the last Finest release for retail or less but then everything from Heritage to Womens sets went up. The only set I remember still dirt cheap was the NXT set that has Kross/Scarlett on the box

I'm fairly confident Finest boxes will go down in cost over the next month or so since its one of their lower-end brands, but singles prices will go down too. For those that open boxes/sell singles, sure the boxes may cost more at release but the singles also sell for more so it still can be an advantage. But at the cost of these boxes, while I think its still too high its still more reasonable than Cactus Jack was so hopefully those that buy and open get some good stuff.

You still need the right hits, using an above example it won’t matter much if you sell say a Damon Kemp /99 the week of release or six months later it prob won’t have additional value ever. On the flip side if you pull a Rock auto it won’t matter if you sell right away you likely won’t lose value. The “sell right away” is dependent upon good hits which is still random.

The super is due to the dumb card design, prob made it insanely difficult to overlay and still stand out without say removing g the whole ring steep inspired background and just making it the super design. Inserts shouldddd look alot better.
