Plus I also have fun when a new batch of slabs come back and I see what grades I get. Kind of similar to the thrill of opening up packs to see what you get. It hits the same for me.

I think I will send a few sketches today to PSA through COMC… starting with this bad guy…

PSA sketch card slab sales continue to be solid on COMC

Got these two back today. Now that Upper Deck has lost the Marvel license (presumably at least for the next five years if not forever) I think some of these quirky ePack only-set achievements might prove to be more collectible.

I wonder if it would be worth getting my Mark Hamill sketchagraph from Galaxy 6 slabbed?

This slab sold pretty much just as quickly as I listed it…

Adam Cline did some great stuff for the 2007-2008 MMs

Was probably glorbgorb who bought the Cline sketch. It's pretty nice if you're a Rhino collector

Nope, I would have probably hit it tomorrow when it showed up in my daily emails, though. (Not for the grade, but because I really like Cline's work.)

Here’s another cool Wendy Chew (“Mashi”) sketch from the first 2011 Marvel Beginnings set that I got back today PSA 10. I love the look of the color pencils and surprised more artists don’t use color pencils on sketch cards because it usually comes out pretty solid.

I love the sketches Sal Abbinanti did for 2014 Marvel Premier. They tend to grade low but I still think they look cool slabbed. Love the look of this Apocalypse…

Do you submit the correctly spelled Artist Name for each of these; or does PSA do the research?

This was subbed through COMC so I don’t enter any information at all beyond selecting the dollar tier I want to sub at.

That said… some sketches come back to me unslabbed (with full refund). Like this unsigned Dinosaurs sketch that I recently submitted (and honestly even I don’t know the ID of the artist).

Loving the Dinosaurs sketches that PSA does slab. It looks to me if a sketch is unsigned they won’t slab it. Small sample size but all the Dinosaurs sketches that I have submitted that have a sig on front or back have come back slabbed. Only the unsigned got returned to me unslabbed.

And I love the work Edgar Pasten did for 2012 Star Wars Galactic Files. It got a PSA 6 because back is a bit of a mess. I just love slabbing sketches so not really too bummed on the grade.

Got another Dino back. PSA seems a bit more stingy in grades than the Dino sketches I subbed to CGC previously. But I like the look of the PSA slab better. My plan was to slab each artist but that will be impossible since PSA doesn’t seem to slab non-signers. I will prob slab a full checklist of Dinos in the set though.

More unexpected returns today. The Defenders sketch is about as bad as it gets unfortunately lol. Curious to see that in hand.

I guess it's possible the artist used tape to hold the card to a desk while working, and when the tape was removed, the edges were damaged.
