Is it just me, or is anyone else noticing a 3-card per day theme?

Life imitates art, or vice versa?

Bob Porter: "Looks like you've been missing a lot of NOW lately."
Platman: "I wouldn't say I've been *missing* it, Bob."

His double in the 11th of the same game won the game for the Yankees to give them a 6-1 start to the season.

Yeah I was curious if Topps found this to be the most profitable configuration but today it appears to just be Pete Alonso

Small amount of games, nothing extremely exciting. Alonso only got the card because it was RBI 500, otherwise it would have been a complete game shutout (is there a RTOD card for that? ).

I've been banging on Topps for a while now, and I don't like doing it. However, I like the new approach that seems to focus on actual milestones instead giving every popular player and rookie a card for stepping onto the field that day.

Idk, I tihnk we've just gotten luck with milestones. We still had "Trout's first HR of the season" as if that wasn't going to happen. Today's cards are also pretty meh:

Ryan McMahon - Cracks Grand Slam Walk-Off Shot for Rockies Win
Thairo Estrada - Hits Walk-Off Double to Give Giants The Victor
Travis D'Arnaud - Late-Game Walk-Off Single in Braves Home Opener

They really love the walk-off.

True...good point on Trout. But there have been plenty of others that I think they would've made pre-Fanatics.

The walkoffs have been a thing for a while, though, so that's not shocking. I'd be fine if they did away with most of those even though I love dual-image TN cards.

Also, my dissatisfaction with Topps/Fanatics as a whole has carried over a little into TN. Normally, I would've bought most of the walkoff cards but not this year. I'll wait for something truly moving or milestone-y.

Ryan McMahon hits a walk off grand slam.

Let us see if they get a Topps Now card.

I guarantee you that there are other players on other teams that if they were to hit a walk off grand slam they would be getting cards.

Is it just me, or are they doing a better job of using swing shots for the front image?

I feel like I usually see them jogging the bases or some other post-swing image for the walkoffs.

Anyone know which year was Solar Eclipse’s Rookie Year?

Should this have the All Star banner? I guess it’s technically No Star so probably not…

I guess someone goofed and put them up becuase I saw them for about 25 minutes and then they were gone. They were separate pages for each card, no set, no parallels. Just today's four cards with the funky colors.

I don't think it was a goof, I think they were aiming for them to be available roughly while the eclipse was happening in New York.

That, or they took the feedback to heart from people who told them it made no bloody sense to make "eclipse edition" cards for events that happened the day before the damn eclipse, and they'll cancel orders and put up new ones tomorrow. I doubt it, but it's possible.

Well...as of this moment, I have not received a cancellation for my order.

I rescind this statement.

Another Soto card. I'm starting to feel bad for every other Yankees player.
