This is a fairly massive PR for ePack based on what I've seen. Up over 12k just available on the marketplace (which doesn't include anyone who locks their volume - which is a minority, but the number is MORE than 12k for sure).

200+ of the "rarest" image variation (400+ golds).

Bedard available in other releases including representing Canada.

I mean... maybe this gets a premium? I think the challenge is a large portion of the people buying are buying DOZENS with the plans to flip the base to pay for the parallel chances. So the model typically ends up with a race to the bottom on COMC once they are available to transfer.

If you want one, I'd BET the best price on a base is eventually there after the floodgates open.

Which NHL 2023-24 set will likely include his:

Top mid-level RC?
Top high-end RC?

Mid-level will likely be sets like OPC Platinum and SP Authentic. Those sets feature hard-signed autographs. OPC Platinum is essentially the Topps Chrome of hockey.

High-end rookies would be in sets like The Cup and Ultimate Collection. Those are your big boom-or-bust type of sets.

Exactly what I was looking for - thanks

When does the sale of these end? Says weekly but I don't remember when the sale started.

I think Monday... but it's been a long week and has all run together. I also think they say "weekly" but if they are making 10-15k/day on them... I can see someone "forgetting to put up a new one"

Just looking at the odds for the 21-22 Upper Deck CHL cards, it seems like the They're Exceptional cards are undervalued compared to the rest of the inserts. I may have to pick up a few more of those.

Profiles 1:5 packs 30 different cards so 1:150 packs
First Draft 1:8 packs 20 different cards so 1:160 packs
Next Step 1:7.5 packs 20 different cards so 1:150 packs
They're Exceptional 1:200 packs 3 different cards so 1:600 packs

Thanks.

Just bought 11 packs and hit a gold. I'm gonna stop while I'm ahead.

I managed to pull one of Bedard's They're Exceptional inserts out of my two boxes.

I opened 8 boxes and didn't get one of any player. At least I got three Golds though.

I bought the rest of what DA had for $59 when I saw how much the Bedards were going for.

Callum Ritchie /10 is good. He’s a top prospect for the upcoming draft.

Decided to give the Game Dated Moments one more try as I'd gotten zero parallels so far around 10 packs in.

Just bought five packs said all or nothing since today was the last day (although knowing me I would of opened one or two more before truly giving up)

First pack........image variation, second pack.......silver parallel, base, base, fifth and final pack......gold parallel

I'll take it, pretty shocked at the collation, counted after out of 17 total packs: 1 var., 1. silver, 1. gold, seeing the number of base compared to especially the variation makes me happy especially when people have been paying over pack price for base on Ebay for some reason lol even when just transferring

this is as of earlier today (again, just numbers that are available in market place, so actually numbers probably higher)

base / silver / gold / variation
bedard - 14k / 1k / 514 / 255
fantilli - 1k / 127 / 31 / 34
wright - 976 / 116 / 35 / 13
guenther - 595 / 67 / 20 / 12
milic - 478 / 49 / 11 / 13

I know numbers are probably higher but the fact the variation stayed under 300 is a bonus to me, crazy to see the numbers in comparison to the other guys

Considering the parallels all together only add up to less than 1/7th of the overall cards I think it bodes well, base is doomed. Haven't seen anything but only question now is if they have another run of Team Canada GDM with Bedard after this success or already had planned, that could def dillute things and have everyone just chasing the new ones but not too worried

Is Ultimate Collection really considered high end?

I think Ultimate is close to high end but not quite there.

I would rank as such: (low, mid, mid-high, high)

MVP
Trilogy
SPX

Flagship (s1/s2)
Artifacts
Stature
OPC Platinum

Premier
Ultimate

SP Authentic
Cup

Are OPC Platinum RCs better than YGs? I've always thought YGs are where it's at for hockey rookies.

YGs are more desirable and carry a lot more weight than OPCP RCs in the Hockey market. If that makes them better, I don't know.
Top RCs to collect are YGs, SPA FWAs and The Cup.
After those it's a matter of preference with design, values, PC, budget, availability etc.
I'm personally a big fan of OPCP and Premier Collection.

I agree with that list for the most part, however flagship after Sature and Artifacts, not for me Id slide flagship before either. Also you did miss Black Diamond so... slide that in between sp and Ult?

As far as OPC Platinum is going, loving it and it is certainly gaining respect! Just picked up a Matthew Tkachuk seismic gold auto /25, beauty cards.
