Second box finished up with Angel Gomes /35 and then a Nuno Mendes base refractor. Lots of base for the PC. Very happy with the results from 2 boxes but without the one big hit it wouldn’t have ended in great shape so I understand the trepidation.

My five boxes arrived late yesterday afternoon, and I'll be opening one box a day until I have a complete base set (or close enough that I can trade for the cards I still need). So probably will end up opening three and stashing the other two.

First box was fun, although nothing special in terms of "hits".....Zlatan boxtopper, Gravenberch gold #/50 for my color, and Daniel Barganca for my refractor.

But the cards look gorgeous, and ripping was fun.....got 13 retired players including all the big names (Cantona, Baresi, Maldini, Gerrard, Lampard, R.Carlos, etc.) and five out of the seven USMNT players.

The collation worked out nicely on my 2 boxes - not a single duplicate - so I got almost every LFC and USMNT player and was fairly close to a full set. Hopefully 3 boxes does it for you!

Yep.....now hopefully Topps will put in the effort to get some of the other big names from European football that have been in past Panini products.....Beckenbauer, Beckham, Henry, Gullit, Rijkaard, Van Basten, Koeman, Rijkaard, Matthaus, Shevchenko, etc.

And since Napoli is now getting into the Champions League fairly regularly, would love to see a Maradona card.

Also, having a George Weah/Tim Weah dual auto would rock....

You also have some of the older stars from the 70's like Keegan & Dalglish who are still alive, as well as those who are deceased like Cryuff, B. Charlton, Denis Law, George Best, etc.

Not sure why Zidane has never reached agreement with Panini or Topps....

One third of the way through my second box......beating the odds so far......Bellingham black refractor & Lauro Martinez Aqua auto #/30 (odds are 1:1026 packs).

I'd also note that my Aqua auto is #/30.....the checklists I've seen have indicated that they are #/20......

The key as always on many of these online exclusives in particular is getting listings up early and at competitive rates, especially for base sales. I’m already at $80 net on base singles in 24 hours which is also a good sign for the collectibility of this set.
