Most likely. Blasters were the way to go last time out with Merlin, 90% of the blasters had a numbered hit, and autos were possible.

Probably depends on how popular the Match Ball Signatures end up being. I think that's the only hobby exclusive aspect apart from a few numbered parallels that don't appear to be awfully important.

yeah these don’t look as good as last year, at least until i see them in hand.

We're probably talking only 1 auto or so per blaster case so not a good ratio if you're looking for autos. But if you can manage 8 numbered cards out of 8 blasters for the same price as a hobby box, that does seem like a better option personally vs. auto + 3-4 numbered (guessing on that). Renaissance also possible chase in blasters though rare.

The Blasters have been on Card Giants for a hour or two btw. Site is slammed so you will need some patience if you want to pick some up ($29.99) limit of two.

I can use target, they just won't ship certain items currently to Hawaii, where my home is. Target also don't ship to the popular re-shipping companies either. I could get it shipped to Seattle, or LA or New York where I have friends and family, but that's rather annoying.

Anyway, rather than making this about me as you seem intent to, no, lots of people for various reasons can't use Red Card or whatever else. It's a big world.

Blasters are absolutely a reasonable substitute for Merlin, imo. And at 8:1 it’s a no brainer to me. Yes, the balls are cool but that’s a big spread.”

(1/12 ball; 1/12 Renn)

8 blasters:
20 refractors
24 aqua Prizm
8 numbered 1-150
40% shot at an auto
No match ball
20% shot at a Renn

I’d say I’m more even at 4-5:1.

rather than assuming everything is about you, i was pointing out to the greater community that at 30 plus 10 shipping it’s cheaper to wait for target.

$70 for x2 blasters and shipping (usually 2-3 days) on CG
$72 for x2 blasters and shipping (3-5 days) on top of a 10-15 day shipping wait on Topps.

Topps really need to sort out their shipping. It's very rare that I'll pick up anything direct from them these days

My Stadium Club box was abnormally good, but my Merlin box today was abnormally awful. Hakimi base auto wasn't a good way to start, then it was Harvey Barnes /50, Zlatan /250, and Adeyemi /250. Good looking cards and got some decent stuff for the PC also. But poor value in this particular box with nothing valued over $20.

I'll rather wait for them to show up somewhere. 30 bucks between shipping and taxes is too much for these.

when you order 5 off topps it comes down to $28.60 per box. agreed the shipping fee from topps is exorbitant though.

now if $25 is the target price we’re down to $23.75 per with free shipping.
