If I am at a fast casual restaurant and it is busy there, I usually tip and get my food faster than the people who ordered front of me

Pre-Covid I never would tip on takeout, it's not different than fast food in that sense or even buying a pre-made meal at a grocery store.
But for now, at least while restaurants are still being hurt on dine-in sales, I've been giving my normal 20% and then round up to nearest dollar tip for even take out. One of my favorite stories about my best friend though was once in college we ordered takeout from BWW and he was hammered drunk, we picked it up, he saw the tip line, and asked the girl working the pick up window if he's supposed to tip for take out, she said it's just up to you, his drunk ass looked her in the eye and said "well you didn't do jack-s*** for me" To this day that story gets told quite frequently whenever any of us are paying a check at a restaurant, was just so funny (and yes, I then made him give her a tip after that and apologized, but she knew how drunk he was and actually thought it was kinda funny).
