Soooo much more to football than just the players. Like I said so many variables. I doubt the Bucs even get back to the Super Bowl. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I’m not saying they’re a lock or anything, but to say they have a less than 5% chance is comical.

I'll step in for Kingofkings since I'm bored watching basketball. 1. The schedule looks very favorable: Sure, the NFL can try to make it difficult by scheduling some tough back to backs, but most games are on the eastern time zone which is favorable. (they are at the rams, but this could be a prime time game which may work in the Bucs favor) 2. The offense: The line is really the only weak point along with the lack of a true receiving back, but this is a stretch and I'm being picky. The receiving core is one of the best in the NFL and OJ Howard will be back at TE. 3. Defense: the line is aging and young blood will help. The secondary could use some strengthening. I expect the Bucs to address this in the draft. The run defense should continue to do well. 4. QB: Unless the GOAT gets hurt, I expect similar numbers. (40 TD's/12 INTs) He has lost some velocity, but his deep ball was stellar last year. 5. Special teams/kicker/coach: To the best of my knowledge, the staff is intact, grandfather Bruce will hold the reigns, and Succop will be back. 6. Intangibles: Brady will not let this team rest on it's laurels. They will have even more time to gel (especially on offense). The division should be won rather easily, and the team is playoff tested. I really think major injuries to key players is the only thing that could derail this team from a deep playoff run. Last edited by blackbears86; 03-26-2021 at 09:56 PM. |

All very good points and thought out. Injuries are always a big part of the game. It wouldn’t even take an injury to Brady to derail the team. We saw what happened to the Chiefs when they lost 2 starters on the O line and had to face a vicious pass rush. Not to mention all the other skill position players. Aside from injuries you also have 31 other teams making moves, whether that’s coaching changes, trading players and drafting and building new game plans to beat the top teams. All I’m saying is pretty much everyone thought the Chiefs were gonna go back to back. It’s very very difficult to repeat in the NFL. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

agree with everything here, but: In the Chiefs case, they lost two lineman just prior to the superbowl. It's very difficult to make adjustments in that short a time frame. The Bucs are clearly the front runners in their division: Unless something amazing happens in the draft, I don't see the Saints, Falcons or Panthers surpassing the Bucs in the immediate future. Their chances: In no way shape, form, or manner am I saying the Bucs are going back to the super bowl, but clearly, their chances are better than 5%. At the very least, they should win the division and hopefully have home field advantage for at least one game in the playoffs injuries by far are the biggest wildcard. I don't agree with you on Brady. If he goes down, they are in trouble. what surprises me is people assuming the Chiefs will be back. SB losers typically do not fair well the following year. |

Tom Brady led his team to 5 of the last 7 Super Bowls. This 2021 Bucs team is probably one of the best teams he has been on. I like their chances to get back to the Super Bowl. |

For the people doubting Tampa Bay, I have learned one thing about the NFL. Never bet against or doubt Tom Brady. Idc how old he is. He will jam your words down your throat 9 times outta 10!
