With his Prizm silver now going over a hundo and the optic holo approaching it, anybody selling high on jjj? I’m high on him long term but man, it’s tough to pass up 3x profit on a kid who might not make the playoffs.

This isn't really 'high' on him. So many from the 18/19 & 19/20 class who don't even come near his ceiling are selling for more, so I'm holding.

Not sure how many people are aware of this guy, but he does the best analysis on youtube. It's really good stuff and somehow still free. So go support him with likes+subscriptions.

I know it's a year old but not too much has changed, save for JJJ dropping 40+ on the Bucks this year and continuing to show unbelievable tools for a nearly 7-ft dude.

Thanks for the share. That was good stuff. Really gives a better look as to why he can’t stay on the court due to foul trouble. Good to see some of the past DPOY winners start out their careers with similar issues. Guy has the talent but just needs more seasoning.

Yeah with a couple more seasons of pro weight-training his core should get much stronger and he won't have to rely on 'leaning in' to bigs as much to leverage his weight. And experience and coaching should take care of the rest.

Def holding. His shooting is not a fluke, and hopefully he shows out when the restart happens.

Big kudos to linking that video and channel. I agree, he is the best basketball analysis on Youtube. I watch all of his videos, they're great.

This type of "real life" basketball analysis is great to pair up with sports card talk as you can get insight into what basketball heads think as to who are the elite players, outside of any hobby.

Jaren is one of those unique unicorns in that we haven't really seen a player like him. He's like a hybrid wing/big that shoots an incredibly high % from three, and launches it free-will like a guard. But he's also incredibly athletic at 6'11" and can defend extremely well for his age.

He has huge upside, and it'll be interesting to see how his hobby market matures over time since he's not the "Alpha Wing" type that usually rises to the top (e.g., Giannis, Luka, Tatum) in value. His uniqueness does give him a shot at getting closer to that value though since he's not a traditional big.

I just remember seeing some stats of his as a rookie and I just thought - this guy is special. Stats aren't everything but some of the things he can do are very special. The addition of Ja I actually think is a good thing. Although Ja is the undoubted star of the Griz, Ja also helps get the Grizz to the playoffs which stops JJJ turning into a good player on a bad team that no one knows about.

When I got back into the hobby, jaren Jackson was the first guy I seriously looked at. 6’10” and shoots 39% from deep on 6 attempts per game. Couldn’t believe his prices were so low.

Very pleased to see him getting the green light like this. 6-15 on 3's. Meanwhile Brooks and Morant combined to go 3-16. Heck, Dame and CJM were a combined 5-15.

Huge game for JJJ, sad they couldn't come up with it. He looked great on both ends of the floor.

That game turned around when JJJ started coming up to help double the point and the rest of the team started poking at the ball. Portland looked terrible against full court pressure too. Just my opinion, but having Winslow go down before the scrimmages started was a huge blow. They could use that extra veteran coming off the bench right now, but JJJ, Morant, & Clarke are so fun to watch, I'm just happy to watch these young guys play.

This was a good game for JJJ and my little under $200 investment just might pay off. See pictures above.

Everyone talks about him launching bombs, but his handle is really coming along nicely. These were two of my favorite plays from today.

Agreed, when 5's have to guard him or get switched onto him they have to run up on him to respect his 3, and then he makes it look easy taking them to the rim. His handles look improved here, and I wasn't aware he could finish so strongly with his left like in those gifs.

I wasn’t able to watch any games today, he stayed out of foul trouble? Any signs of improvement there or they just didn’t attack him?

Yeah, he waited until the 2nd half to turn up the defense and pick up fouls...pretty much the whole team did. The refs were calling some ticky-tack stuff, and hitting players with technicals for showing emotion. Glad JJJ was able to stay on the court though. You could tell he was frustrated with the refs blowing their whistles so much, but he showed leadership and calmed Clarke down at one point.

He looked great today and he’s so much bigger than everyone else that he doesn’t realize how much he can dominate! He needs to bang more though and grab rebounds for his size... that should come around.

Looking forward to the day collector's perceptions change about NBA bigs. JJJ and guys like him deserve as much hobby love as guards.

Agreed sir. He was awesome in college. So many young NBA bigs grow up in AAU leagues as point guards brining the ball up the court. Then nature takes over and they became PF/Centers for their respective high school squads. A lot of great skill sets for these guys. Was VERY surprised by his 3-pt shots; totally thought Dillon Brooks was going to bomb/brick everything (his success totally depends on whether his baby mommas gave him an earful the night before).
